  Funny, upon reading the responses by the company about poor quality products, they use the same mumbo jumbo excuses to justify not giving customer satisfaction, using words like "microscopic analysis" and saying it played well on their "high quality" equipment. And they blame it on the consumer's equipment. I ordered a 45 record from them to play on my jukebox. It would not play, sounded warped. Played it on another turntable, it sounded warped. Amazing how I can have hundreds of 45 records that play just fine, but because there's doesn't, it somehow is my system's fault. They go out of their way to "not" give customer satisfaction. So I echo many of the reviews below, "Buyer Beware," if you purchase a record from this company and it doesn't sound right on you system, you're outta luck.

  Hi **** - I'm sorry you are unsatisfied with your record. We have provided you video confirmation of one of our multiple tests and found that your custom vinyl record was indeed manufactured as promised, with high quality and able to play on any correctly set up turntable. I would encourage you to review your set up at home to understand why the record isn't playing as you'd expect, as the issue is not with the vinyl itself!

  Horrible. My wife purchased a custom made vinyl for my birthday. There were skips throughout the entire record as well as the first track sounded very warmed and went in and out of pitch. We sent it back for them to fix but they sent us the same record back saying that they could not find anything wrong and also provided a video to prove it. The said that it must be our turntable set up. Unfortunately the video they provided of the record they made playing on their own turntable also sounded warped. We just received repetitive responses that they could not find anything wrong and eventually stopped responding. They obviously should not be in this business and we are in the process of trying to get a refund because we are tired of their unprofessional ins and unwillingness to be honest and resolve the problem. Do not use freestyle vinyl, at the point it appears they are only in it to scam.

  Hi **** - I'm sorry you are not satisfied with your record! As we have discussed with your wife via email and here on BBB, our team analyzed your returned record and found that it was of high quality and did not contain the skipping / warping that you reported. Under microscope analysis, it was found that the record's grooves were not damaged in a way that would cause these issues either. We provided video and audio analysis to your wife as well. While a record can certainly be the cause of playback issues, a turntable or other elements of your audio setup may be the cause as well. This is why we thoroughly test every return we receive.Unfortunately, it seems the conclusions and corresponding evidence that we provided are not satisfactory to either you or your wife. But, having reviewed your record and the audio / visual recordings we took in our office multiple times, we stand by that analysis and the return of your original record. To be honest, I'm not sure why you have refused to acknowledge the evidence provided.Also, to be fair, we have responded to every single one of your wife's messages. We have not "stopped responding" at all. We are always dedicated to providing the best, most thorough customer service we can! I'm sorry this has not worked out the way we all wanted, but I am 100% confident in the quality of the record you have received!

  Freestyle Vinyl helped ** ************ with a large client order that we just didn't have the capacity to fulfill. ***** and team were phenomenal to work with and helped us ship over ***** records in the space of 5 weeks! We have so far (3 months later) not received a single complaint from our customers, and have received a ton of happy feedback about quality. So I just wanted to pass along a positive review based on my customers' feedback. We would absolutely work with Freestyle again as soon as the opportunity arises!

  I ordered the 12" custom vinyl and jacket. The package was on time and in great condition (no dents or visible damage). However, the jacket had minor scratches all along the edge and the ink had been rubbed off in some spots. These damages seemed to be from the shrinkwrap process. I would have sent an email just to see if it could be replaced but I wouldn't have pushed it. But the image was blurry. I emailed about being unhappy and got a response in a timely manner saying to email photos of the scratches but that the blurry image/color quality wasn't their doing. I sent photos and asked why I wasn't notified the image I submitted was low quality. The response said "Those are not defects worth of a re-print, sorry." Fair enough. However, my question wasn't addressed and I mentioned that in a follow up email. The response I received was "Hi our site clearly states what is (a) minimum quality and (b) suggested highest quality for custom jackets. Your jacket files cleared our minimum requirement, which is why they were able to be printed and you didnt receive an error. But they did not match our suggested pixel count for the highest possible quality." I asked where it said that on the site as I didn't notice. No response. I was curious and went on the website. The product listing for a custom vinyl jacket only (no record) gave the info but the listing I purchased didn't. I took a screenshot and emailed that. No response again. I sent another email the next day explaining the situation and saying a reprint with better images should be provided as I shouldn't be expected to view another product to see the pixel requirements. The response to my email: "No." I asked for proof that it was listed on the website in a reasonable place and have not received a response. I never got any notice while looking at the product, while uploading, or after ordering that my image was only meeting the minimum requirement. Don't waste your money.

  Hi **** - as discussed over email, I'm very sorry you were disappointed in the print of your jacket. However, we very clearly state both the requirements and recommendations for a quality print, and your jacket files simply were not good enough for the high quality print you are demanding. We are unfortunately not able to take an "ok" file and create an "excellent" print... that's just not possible, as we've tried multiple times to explain. If you would like to submit a higher quality photo / design, certainly the print would be higher quality.We have responded to each and every email of yours, and I see this review is coming on a Monday Morning after your Saturday PM email has not yet been responded to.... that is because we do not force our team to work the weekends :-) We care deeply about our customers and try to ensure every one has a great experience, I'm sorry you weren't able to say that about your Freestyle Vinyl!

  Fantastic quality, even better customer service. I purchased a record with custom jacket, and added a custom label after the fact, which Freestyle offers for free which is very cool. Shipping was faster than the published time, and my daughter was bowled over with the gift. Couldn't be happier, and just wanted to give a shout-out here for our thanks! ****

  I am very pleased with this purchase experience, from the time I sent numerous messages with questions and received immediate replies with clear explanations, to the ordering process, and when the records were delivered. They were for my daughter and she just completed listening to them and said they are flawless. I previously ordered 3 custom records from a seller on Etsy and every single one of them was defective. Songs would skip, or be garbled, or stop in the middle of the song. The worst part was that the seller tried to blame it on us by stating that our record player is defective. I found Freestyle Vinyls online, while I was looking for a new company that does custom records, and decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did. I have already saved them on my phone as the only company I will order custom records from. Also, thank you ***** for all your help.

  Horrible company! I was sent a record that didnt have the songs I paid for and it was full of dead spots. I tried to be polite to them but immediately I was told it was my fault it must be my record player! Well its the only record that does that, not the five I just bought! I paid $75 for fast shipping for Valentines Day and they screwed that up. Stay away from this company they are a joke.

  We have offered this customer a return so that we can understand any issues with the vinyl that was produced (as per our returns policy). We guarantee review and replacement in the rare event of a defect, but he has chosen instead to use abusive language toward our staff via email and write what is, frankly, a very disingenuous and false review. Bryon - you have a return label and instructions on how to send your vinyl back to us for review!
