Today McDonalds company has endorsed ***** *****. Ms. ***** is known for her antics on and off the basketball court. This behavior is not something, as a parent, would want my child to emulate and think is a positive and proper way to behave. Due to this horrible decision by the company, I will no longer be patronizing the business.Business Response

On Wednesday evening, 1/29/25, we ordered McDonalds delivery for our kids. We received an order receipt and a delivery confirmation message through DoorDash (see attachments). The order was never delivered. Hungry kids, upset parents, major disruption to plans, in short a horrible experience on a school night. We were also put to greater expense to replace the lost order. And to add insult to injury, no explanation from McDonalds whatsoever.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:McDonalds clearly is not reviewing my claim carefully. The two documents attached to the complaint are 1) an order receipt e-mailed at 6:21pm on 01-29-2025; and 2) a text message sent at 6:23 pm on 01-29-2025.
The text message reads "Your order from McDonalds will be delivered through DoorDash." As I said in my complaint, the order was not delivered and ******** claims that they have no information about the order.
DoorDash cannot refund the order or take any other actions because they did not receive the order and the payment was made directly to McDonalds.
I would appreciate McDonalds looking into the details of this order to determine what occurred, and then substantively addressing the complaint.

I ordered through the McDonalds app. I notified them that the order was wrong when it was delivered. They sent me instructions via email, I followed the instructions within minutes, they closed my case the very next day because I didn't respond to their request within 72 hours. 1) I responded within minutes. 2) They closed the case in a little over 24 hours 3) I have tried to get back in touch and the refuse to reengage They have tried to blame this on the delivery company. I ordered through the McDonald's app and the food was what was wrong. The delivery company has nothing to do with the food preparation. I didn't order on a third party app, McDonalds involved them not me. McDonalds is who is responsible for preparing the food, not for whoever THEY chose to deliver.Business Response

This is the same generic response you originally gave me. I did not order through a delivery service. I ordered through your app. Your employees messed up the order. McDonald's needs to stop deflecting and handle a mistake that they made instead of trying to pass the **** on. I stated this when I was originally provided with this cut and paste response and that is when they opened a case. I should not have to jump through hoops to get this sorted out. To restate, I ordered on the McDonald's app, I did not know that there would be a third party delivery company, McDonald's made the food, the food was wrong. How is that anyone else's responsibility?

The store i work at got remodeled, i started working again around December 17 and up to date currently january 24, I have not gotten one single pay check ever since i started working. I have tried making reports to the McDonalds company, they have been investigating my report for around two weeks, i have to be checking every 2 business days and they havent been able to find the issue. When I was out walking my dogs, I found a McDonalds 16oz plastic cup with a lid and a straw in the middle of the sidewalk. I picked it up and brought it home to recycle because I often do that kind of thing, but I am not happy. The little recycle symbol with directions is so small and white on clear plastic. If they are going to be putting thousands of these into circulation from every location every week, their recycling efforts have to be more prominent. Big red letters. Specific information for localities: RECYCLABLE IN ********** empty - rinse - recycle lid and cup. The notice should cover at least half of the cup. I wonder if they separate, rinse and recycle in their stores. Their plastic ware and straws are also recyclable.From what I see on the streets, they and other fast food places are not doing their jobs.Business Response

The use of post-consumer materials in packaging food products is limited by federal regulations and health concerns; however, we're working with our suppliers to use post-consumer content in our packaging whenever feasible.
You'll be interested to know McDonald's tray liners are 100-percent post-consumer recycled content, and our carry-out bags contain 30-percent post-consumer content. Also, our 100-percent recycled napkins contain at least 30-percent post-consumer recycled content.
McDonald's has programs in place to recycle or to test the recycling or composting potential of more than 80 percent of all on-premise waste (by weight). We will continue to aggressively search for ways to reduce, recycle, or compost our remaining waste.

This is the third method that *** used to contact McDonalds about this issue. My sister and I share one account for points. She attempted to get a code to earn ********* a purchase and the app would not load. I submitted a forgotten points request a few days later and the points were never added to myaccount. I contact McDonalds both via ******* and via email and they keep telling me that they see my purchase, but I keep responding to them and letting them know that it was a different location. Ive sent them a photo of the receipt they keep giving me a canned response. Does anybody actually read what is being written into customer service? On 12/7/24 I contacted your customer care after being shorted an item that I paid for, 10 piece nugget. I have not been able to receive resolution.
