***************************, ***********************************************************************, is not at all what their website shows. We rented a cabin, sight unseen, and when our kids arrived at 9pm to check in, the cabin was filthy, bugs on the mattress, dirty sheets, dirt all over the floors, broken window, holes in the back porch screens, missing back steps, etc. Our son went to the office the next morning to see if something could be done to compensate us for their trouble and the only thing they offered was a refund of the monthly charge coupled with them moving out of the cabin! They have no where else to go because they are waiting to get into their new house. All their family is in ***** and our son is continuing to work his job during the transition. I called and left several messages with the corporate office, Equity Lifestyle in *******, and have not heard anything from them. After doing some research today, I see that they have had several lawsuits and a very poor reputation for property management. We have pictures of all the filth and neglected parts of the property I would like to pass on as evidence. We would never recommend doing business with Equity Lifestyle or Thousand Trails or ****************. Several campers have ******* reviews so you can see for yourself.

I have an annual site at *************. From the beginning, the park management's incompetence reared its ugly head. Miscommunication of insurance requirements. Not alerting me that there had been a squatter in my site over the winter and the site being uninhabitable when my trailer delivery guy and I showed up. I had to stay in a temporary site and couldn't set up a proper home base until they figured everything out. "Mistakenly" leasing me a site that wasn't actually in the year round section leading to numerous cascading issues because there were no utilities/road maintenance/etc. Getting my van and trailer stuck a foot down into the mud because of the lack of road maintenance. Having 400 feet of water hose run from another site in the dead of winter because they couldn't turn my water on until the rest of the park opened. The hose cracked numerous times from freezing and being driven over so it had to keep being replaced. I had to fill my tanks in case this happened instead of using city water. Not ideal in below freezing temps. The laundry has been under renovation for over a month during the high season. A belligerent ranger recently harassed me about being in my site because management hadn't provided the rangers with an updated list of annual tenants. I don't get reliable wifi despite there being a mesh point at the end of my driveway so I'm still paying a ton for cell phone data. Park and regional management have been evasive and unwilling to assist me. I was finally given a credit for the gravel that they told me I had to have installed as the site had been graded down to mud from them scraping up the squatter's trash with a backhoe. As if they were doing me a favor by reimbursing me for something I should have never had to pay for in the first place. Zero consideration for the months that I was unable to access my actual site that I paid thousands of dollars for. I have been trying to escalate this to corporate but keep getting stonewalled.
