I have had my cdl for 15 years and have been on my meds for ************************************* a 90 day cert so that way I have to return with a form from my other doctor and pay his office another 90 dollars for my ptsd issues, feeling discriminated against because of my military service and being taken advantage of all for issues that I have proven for 10 years that between my doctors and I have its under control.Business Response

I brought my daughter to WellNOW urgent care in ************ ******** in August 1 , 2022 and we checked in. There were no cars in the parking lot or patients In The waiting room. We waited an hour and then left without being seen by a dr or nurse. No physical for school was done. We even took a video Snapchat because it was such horrible service. We were billed foe the physical ***** and I called the WellNOW billing in ******** and they will not help and I called the actual facility in ************. The admissions secretary would not give me the name of the dr or any information . She said pay it and make it easier in yourself .Account number ******* I have a video of my daughter and myself never seeing the doctor for a physical .They ask for money at the time of service at this facility snd always have before you get the physical. My children have received physicals at this facility for three years prior under a different medical facility name.WellNOW was the new current provider .. this was an intentional lie and attempt to cheat my family out of there hard earned moneyCustomer Answer

On 1/4/2023 my partner, and I had scheduled appointments for a physical at WellNow Urgent Care. We had previously called the office to confirm that they provided physicals for adoption purposes; they confirmed. We checked in, and then waited in our car for a long period of time. Once at the registration desk, I again explained that we needed physicals for an adoption. After waiting, for 2 hours, with a toddler, we were told by the provider that WellNow does not administer this type of physical. We wasted a total of 2 1/2 hours waiting to be told something that should have been stated at the time of call, or at the very least, at the time of check in. In addition, we should not have to wait at an urgent care facility for 2 hours, ignored/forgotten in a room, as we had reserved appointment times. I find this whole experience to be unprofessional, unacceptable, and downright degrading. There was no regard for our time lost sitting in an exam room, with no service rendered. I am certain that if we would have showed up 2 hours late to a scheduled appointment, our appointment would have been undoubtedly been canceled. Please do better than this. Do not make families give up cherished time, after work, to sit, wait, and frankly be neglected. In addition, staff at this facility should know what services are provided, and which services are not provided. I would like to speak to someone about this matter.Business Response

I visited a well now at *********************************************** 9-9-22. I specifically asked for a COVID, gonorrhea, and chlamydia test as I was symptomatic. I declined the trich testing because i didnt feel if fit my symptoms as a nurse. Informed consent was not given and you did the test without my permission when I declined it. Quest is billing me for ******. Furthermore non of the billing reflects correct insurance information.Business Response

Visited the Well Now location in Lafayette, IN on June 20th at approx. 430pm for a tetanus shot. I had an injury a few days prior- a cut with an older piece of yard equipment. The nurse looked at my cut that I had bandaged and first said it needed stitches, I declined. Then the second nurse in said that I should've had stitches but that since it wasn't right away...they wouldn't stitch anyway. I pulled my bandage back over, received the tetanus shot and left. I received a bill in July that totaled $705 in charges, my portion was $244.65. I called for an explanation and while the fees listed are all unreasonable, I was charged for laceration repair-stiches. I called on 7/26, and 8/9/22 for a resolution to this bill. I was first advised that I received stitches (which I assuredly did not), then I was advised the $330 charge for laceration repair was for a steri-strip placed on my finger...and then a supervisor(?) called back to state nothing about any repair was charted so the bill would be corrected. She set the expectation of a bill correction to be done within one week. I called back on 8/16/22 when nothing was updated on the online bill-pay view and was told it would be 1-2 more weeks. I called again on 9/16/22 and was told it might take up to 30 more days to correct the bill and then another ***** days for a new bill to be generated. Seemingly, this company charges excessively, doesn't document properly, takes advantage of insurance companies, and takes an unreasonable/untrustworthy approach to correct their mistakes when someone is diligent in asking them to do so.Business Response

Does Wellnow lie about what charges they will bill you with months after? Will they promise to reach out to a third party and then call you back (not with an apology) to deny the previously promised action?Yes. WellNow is unethical and fraudulent as an organization.More information:The visit to the WellNow urgent care was on 5/24/22. At that time I paid the bill due in full for $130.On 6/14/22 I called WellNow billing to confirm that there were no additional charges (I needed to submit a form to a third party who was responsible for covering the charges for the visit). I was told that I had paid all that was due and there were no additional charges.On 8/23/22 WellNow sent us a bill for $65 for additional charges (something they manufactured to charge us with 3 months after the visit).On 8/31/22 I called them to dispute the additional charges and they agreed to pass them onto the 3rd party responsible for payment.On 9/9/22 I got a call that WellNow will not ever work with a 3rd party for payment.WellNow, please remove the additional bill and work on your financial integrity.Business Response

07/22/2022 visited the Fairmont location in ********, ** due to a slip and fall incident in downtown ******** 07/21/2022. The Provider did not suggest an x-ray instead did the physical exam and advised that I had a bad ankle sprain and sent me home in a walking shoe and ace bandage. I followed up with my own family physician due to not improving and being in such pain and immediately they did an x-ray and found a fractured left fibula and ********** right knee. I am currently under the care of a referred Orthopedic Specialist with ****************************. My Specialist could not understand why they would not do an x-ray TO RULE OUT A FRACTURE and now I am prolonged recovery in a full knee boot due to the lack of knowledge from the PA.Business Response

I had developed what I believed to be an infection in my lower left leg. I live around 1.5 miles from a WellNow urgent care center. I had remembered that that location was open until 8:00 pm. My husband drove me there and we arrived at 7:40 pm. We were quickly turned away, having been told that they were not seeing any more patients for the day. We were not asked what the medical issue was. possibly to determine the urgency of my medical issue. We were simply refused an assessment and/or treatment. When a business sets a closing time, its my understanding that they conduct business as usual until that time. I was fortunately able to find alternate medical care and my medical issue is being treated, but I will never seek treatment at a WellNow facility again, and will also discourage others not to use one of your facilities for urgent medical treatment. I am very disappointed and upset at how insensitive the staff at this specific office behaved toward me. The location address is *************************************************************. Entered by BBB Staff - lj ******** is filing complaint for her elderly mother *************. Her mother stopped at the clinic August 3rd. She was not feeling well. Charged $40 for a Covid test. Took her insurance card and contact information. ******** left her home telephone number. They were to call with the results within 24 to 48 hours. ******** never received the results of her Covid test. ******** helped her mother through a home test. She tested positive. ******** contacted her doctor. ******** called WellNow for her mother. ******** told her mother provided an incorrect phone number. They notify people via text message. ******** did not know this or she would have provided her cell phone number. ******** gave her mothers cell phone number. She still has not received the results. Company advertises as an urgent care center. ******** feels this is false advertising. They do not have a doctor on staff. ******** contacted her mothers insurance company.
