      In the summer of 2024, my wife needed two sutures in her finger. We went to WellNow and payed the $55 copay they requested. We said that wed have our primary care physician remove the sutures because there would be no cost to us. WellNow encouraged us to return by telling us they will not charge us to remove the two sutures. When we returned to WellNow two weeks later we were once again told there would be no cost to us, and they did not request a *****. We only allowed WellNow to remove the sutures because they told us, twice, there would be no cost to us (and no copay was requested). Our insurance company recently confirmed they made their full payment to WellNow for the suture removal last summer. Now, NEARLY A YEAR LATER, WellNow placed a $55 charge on our credit card for suture removal. They did not send us any bill, they just unilaterally placed a charge on our credit card without our authorization. They only sent a text stating "Thank you for scheduling your payment" (but we didn't "schedule" any payment). This is classic bait-and-switch fraud - and fraud is illegal. We recently returned to WellNow and spoke with their location manager to dispute that $55 charge. He informed us we definitely should NOT have been charged, but we need to call their billing department to get this resolved. When we asked if this occurs often, he replied yes. Weve now expended many hours disputing this illegitimate charge with both WellNow and our credit card company. We could not get this resolved until we filed a formal complaint with the NY State Attorney Generals office and they assisted in getting the illegitimate charge reversed.Weve had only two independent experiences with WellNow, yet both times they placed illegitimate "extra" charges on our credit card. Placing illegitimate charges on their clients credit cards places all the burden on their clients to then struggle to have those charges reversed, making this a lucrative but unethical practice.

      I am really unhappy with this company. They charged my credit card without sending me a statement of the account or bill. When I called they gave me some excuse that I authorized an auto pay, but I cannot locate this on my account. I think it's really deceptive for a business to just charge some random fee without warning and without sending a statement of the account. If they had had a balance, they should've sent me a notice with a requirement to pay or be autobilled within a set period of time.

      Visited WellNow Urgent Care in ******* Il 12/15/***** insurance paid claim 2/25/25. Received text that they were taking $160.00 from my daughters card. I called and advised them I had a zero balance. They agreed I had a zero balance. They took the $160.00 from her card anyway. I called and filed a complaint 3 days in a row. All 3 customer service ***s ***** understand my request to refund the card. Finally I got a *** and he agreed to credit the card and it would take 5-7 days for the credit on her account. 7 days passed no credit. The *** then said the ************ couldnt credit the card. This *** said I the patient had to receive a check. They said they issued a check 5/15/25 and it would take 5-7 days for me to receive. I called back 5/22/25 no check. I called my insurance company and we had a 3 way call, the *** said the check was sent and I had to wait until 6/2/25 to receive it. Well its 6/3/25 no check. My insurance company *** asked for them to send the check number to be via text. The WellNow *** sent a text that stated no check had been requested, no check had been sent. WellNow has a poor ************ and an even worse customer service ***** On every call I asked to speak to a Supervisor or asked for a Supervisor call back. They ALL said there is no way for them to contact a Supervisor. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!The care I received on 12/15/24 was HORRIBLE!!The only action they took seriously and made so clear to be after my long long wait, was I could not be seen without the co pay. I had a serious fall on the ice. Went home in pain and decided to go to an Urgent Care, left my card holder at home accidentally. With all this pain going on they said they couldnt even talk to me without the co pay. Thats why I had to call my daughter in ***** to pay over the phone. Once they got that money, then and only then would they even ask me what my medical issue was. That should have been my tip off this place was POOR QUALITY.

      I had a great experience at Physicians Urgent Care in ******, **, at 22nd and ***************, on Friday, May 23. ******* was so kind to me. I came in with a bladder infection and he prescribed an excellent antibiotic that cleared it right up. The other staff members were so nice to me, also. ******* was so helpful to me and so was the young lady at the front desk. ******* sent the sample to the lab, and I quickly received a phone call from ******** telling me the antibiotic would be the one to get me better. Also, I received my online report quickly. I highly recommend this location for anyone who has a walk-in medical situation.

      Very disappointed in this business and would never recommend. The problem wasn't the medical care..the problem is the ****ing department. I have 3 ****s and I have called several times due to them failing yo **** my insurance. Every time I call they have a new reason why they can't **** them. I've ever had a conference call with my insurance *** and the ****ing ***. I was assured the insurance would be ****ed and not to worry. I have now received notice that I'll be sent to collections and they still haven't ****ed my insurance. Their ****ing department is incompetent and the customers are paying for it.

      Tried to bring my very ill 18 year old to the ************ ** location on **************** I made an appointment at 7:25pm online, received a confirmation text and email, there was no appointment time listed on the confirmations, drove my son to the appointment to be told we were late and they cancelled the appointment. When I showed the woman up front the confirmation that was scheduled at 7:25pm she checked with the staff in the back, came back out to tell us to reschedule for the morning. My son has been running a very high fever, shaking, & headache for 4 days and needed to be seen to rule out meningitis, uti, kidney infection, mono, etc. Is this the way sick people are cared for (or not) at this establishment because it was 10 minutes before they closed and everyone wanted to go home?? Very unprofessional, unfortunate they do NOT put the patient first. This provider has been greedy and incompetent since they stole from the insurance companies for 4 years fraudulently billing for COVID tests/labs. I will never step into a Wellnow again.

      This place is a scam I went to wellnow Urgent Care I paid the $175 visit and a couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $75 they said I only paid $100 and I owe $75 for the visit so I called and the guy sees that I paid the 175 but he tells me it's for something else so they're scamming people for $75 every time I bet everyone that goes there gets a $75 bill in the mail and they don't even know what it's for

      Terrible care. We walked in at 730 PM after at incident at a restaurant and they said they were closed. We said the sign said opened and we checked online and it said walk ins welcome. She said its open because we are cleaning. Remind you there was no one even at the front desk when we came in. They were all just in the back talking. This is my second time here and they were just as unprofessional and rude then. Seems like no one is interested in actually working. I understand closing was at 8 but we still walked in during business hours. No one can predict when something goes wrong!

      WellNow has the worst billing department. When you pay your co-pay you need to make sure you know what you are signing because I unknowingly gave them permission to bill my Flex spending card for any additional payments. They did send a text saying that a payment would be processed but because I thought they were spam I deleted them. I received a statement in the mail that reflected a discount and I was planning to mail them a check for the amount on the bill but they went ahead and charged my flex spending account for the total amount before I had a chance to pay the bill. I called the billing department looking to first stop the payment but it had already been charged. I request a refund for the discounted amount and they said that the discount was only for a certain amount of time and that was what was reflected in their system from 4/1 - 4/30. The statement that I received was dated 4/24/25 and no where on the statement did it say that I only had to 4/30/25 to pay to get the discount. I hadn't even received the statement until after the promotion had ended. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said no one was available and that they would send it to their "escalations" team and that someone would contact me in the next day or two and it has been over two weeks. I have called them three times and still have not received a response or gotten the issue settled. Because the statement does not reflect what my flex spending account was charged, if I don't get this settled soon, I am going to have to pay my flex spending account back. I will not be using their services again because this is very unprofessional and from the other review I have read I am not the only one that has had a hard time with their billing department. I am going to continue to call them until I get this resolved but wanted to leave a review so other would be aware of how their billing department works. If I could have left a no star rating, I would have preferred to do that.

      The well now in *************** is outstanding all of the girls are pleasure to be seen by and very very nice and relatable I never like going to well now but the nurse is definitely make it better
