Ur first visit or ur 10 visit It never gets old every time you go there its the same answer we are running 45 min behind. But here is the problem 45 min turn into 90 min waiting every time. They will never disappoint you when it comes to making you wait over an hour to see you doctor. Worst place to go if you have no patience.

I do like the doctors and support staff however in order to make an appointment they require a credit card to be put on file or they will not see you. Then they say youll receive a statement and you have to pay in 10 days otherwise they charge your card. Its a ridiculous policy. Received my statement on a Monday it was due Wednesday they said too bad - there are not many orthos that arent under this company its a racket

If I could give 0 stars I would. On December 07, 2023 I had an appointment (first visit) to be seen by a doctor with the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute. While filling out the patient forms, (about 9 pages), the last page of the paperwork was a credit card authorization form. I returned the forms to the front desk without completing the credit card authorization. I was called back to the front desk and asked to complete the form. When I declined, I was informed that the doctor would not see me unless I agreed to put a credit card authorization on file. Needless to say, I did not see the doctor. I was informed, that this is their policy. This is the first time I've been denied medical treatment/consultation because I would not agree to turn over my credit card information. Yes, I have valid medical insurance which was photo copied and placed in my file. The financial Policy page I signed states" full payment is due at the time of service for self-pay patients or if insurance information (and copy of insurance card) has NOT been provided." My sympathy to anyone in need of medical/consultation, and hoping to receive it from this business with out having a credit card authorization on file.Yes I did leave a review/comment on Illinois Bone and Joint web sight. As of this date, no one from this business has contacted me to address my concerns.

Terrible customer service. I was in the ** for lower back pain Mid November. I was unable to walk due to the pain. After my ER visit I called to make an appointment for follow up. I was told the first available appointment was mid December. I told the person I was willing to go to any of the 3 locations at any time. They are booked until mid December. I also asked to speak with the office manager. I was told its not an option. I called their office 4 consecutive days. I received the same response. It was as if a robot was on the other end. The old Lake Cook Orthopedics would have worked with me. Clearly bigger is not better. You need to work with your staff on showing compassion and understanding of someone who is in pain. Thankfully I was able to find a recommended back specialist. They were awesome.

I was a patient of ************************************ at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in ********. I saw him on August 10th in his ******** office. He advised me to have my five pairs of orthotics modified. He took my orthotics and sent them to his chosen lab, DPM Orthotics, in **** ****. After not returning my orthotics to me for over six weeks, he stopped responding to my phone calls. Both he and his staff ghosted me. They just walked away from any responsibility to get them back. Unconscionable! Finally, after two months I contacted the manager of Illinois Bone and Joint to get my orthotics returned. In the interim, ************** moved his practice and is no longer associated with IBJ. I then reached out to IBJs clinical manager, ******, for help. After two weeks of calls, I finally received a call back because I contacted her supervisor. She said that she would investigate this matter. After a week I received a call from her stating that while IBJ accepted my orthotics, they share no responsibility for returning them to me and in her words, it was okay with her if I walked around with blood blisters and pain. She unprofessionally stated that she doesnt care who else I contact. The five pairs of orthotics are quite expensive, and ******** does not cover the cost. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace them. Im writing this review to make others aware of the totally irresponsible, unprofessional behavior of Illinois Bone and Joint. I would never trust them again! I still have no orthotics.

My 3 months follow up appointment was at 2:30pm and I got there around 2:20pm. The desk lady called me after about 20min waiting to tell me that they are trying to call my insurance to verify eligibility and I said OK. Then 20 minutes later this guy introducing himself as accountant telling me that I need to reschedule my appointment cause they cant get hold of insurance (usually doctors offices call to verify eligibility a day before or at least couple hours to patient visit) VERY BAD PRACTICE to call to verify coverage while patient is there. But anyway I refused to cancel and tried to call insurance myself and I talked to them and told me to show him my eligibility on my account online which I did but at this point the guy was stubborn to even see it and wanted me out. So I was on time for my appointment and I have insurance and I have been to that office many times and still I am the one who gets punished for their bad practice. In the end his manager got involved and even though he was still mad and at certain point as he walking away he flipped me off, I honestly was shocked and frustrated and tried to keep my cool to not do anything crazy.THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

******************** performed my foot surgery on December 23, 2021 at ******* hospital. My experience at ******* was negative from a surgical nurse who could not set-up an IV to being overdosed on Albuterol by the Anesthesiologist. A week later when I saw ********************, he said I had developed an infection, I asked him if the infection would heal and his response was we can hope & he sent me home. He called me the next morning, New Years Eve, to tell me that I needed to go to the *** he recommended that I go to ******* . I spent 5 hours at Northwestern **. The results of the cultures taken in the ** showed I had two different types of infection in my foot. The ** doctor noted patient concerned about infection. I also had significant swelling in my leg which ended up weeping which was seen by ********************. This required, yet another, trip to the ** for an ultrasound to rule out a DVT. The attending nurse asked if my foot surgeon recommended elevating my ******* told her that no my foot surgeon did not tell me that. Her response was he should have. I began elevating my leg & the swelling & weeping cleared up. Despite the questionable decisions made by *******************, I was advised by two members of my health care team to stay with him and try to work it out. I was advised that changing doctors could be a greater risk. During my course of treatment, ******************** called me stupid and referred to me as trouble; when I tried to explain that I have an aversion to the sight of blood, he mocked me. Considering that I have passed out while having blood drawn, this is not a laughing matter. The icing on the cake was when ******************** said to me You know, I just cant wait to get rid of you. I felt that statement was unprofessional, ***** & juvenile for a doctor to say to a patient. I could NEV** imagine one of my other doctors saying that to me or to anyone. In Dr. ********* bio, he says that the treats patients like he would members of his family. If that is true
