From conception to market ********************* and his team has made this process quick and easy! I couldnt be happier with my product! His business model is truly perfect for people like me. I have health issues, injuries and kids with a stack of medical bills so physically and financially there is no possibility I could have done this on my own. Thank you ****!Patents to Retail

This company is a scam! They swindle me out of 8k. I was contacted often to make this purchase. Then their communication fell off significantly after the transaction happened. I haven’t heard from them at all at this point. They use the information and marketing tools I already established to shop my products to establishments.. PTR states that they would create a presentation for me to shop to merchants but they did not do that. Also when I asked about the presentation I was told they can not go into detail about the presentation. Now I’m out 8k and the owner of PTR probably is richer/happier and I’m at a lost.
Eight thousand dollars is a significant amount of money to just be ghosted. They disappeared and I haven’t gotten a call, a letter, a text, an email from them.Patents to Retail

I am ********************* the owner, President, and inventor myself of Patents to Retail and read with dismay your 1-star rating as well as your opinion of my company being a SCAM! So let me reply step by step to your comments.Yes, we charged you a fee which you agreed to and executed an Agreement for which we abided by fully as per the terms of the Agreement and not only updated you on our efforts and to whom we worked with in order to stem interest to obtain a license for your new product but then continued to follow up for another 12 month period even after the Agreement expired! All at no further cost to you.So you complain that in spite of our extending the Agreement and updating you for an additional 12 months after the Agreement expired, communication has dropped off? Of course, it has, however, it takes a period of time for any of the several dozen contacts we made to decide to move forward with an interest in your product and of course if they do whether this year of next or any time after we still represent you. So, you are NOT ghosted as weve explained to you but you wrote this review?Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that we would be successful in obtaining a license for your product but being in this business for nearly 4 decades (39 years) I certainly have the contacts to get your product in front of retailers and e commerce sites for consideration. We have successfully licensed many items and over the course of my career have brought to market well over 500 products and even now currently around 3 dozen products actively being sold at *** ***** ******* ******* ******* ******** ***** *** ****** to mention a handful. During my career I have come out with literally hundreds of new products and the fact is most new products do fail and I have had more than my fair share but those that made it and sold and some are still selling successfully have after years of introduction and thats more than been worth it. Id be happy to discuss this further if youd like but my firm clearly upheld to our Agreement and as most new products fail as offered to the marketplace is just how it is but we did our job and frankly well with getting your product in front of more the 3 dozen prospective licensors. Our Agreement is for 1 year but since it takes time for buyers and potential licensors to decide, we continue to monitor our offerings for an additional year at NO further charge! So, as you see, my company has not disappeared and perhaps if you had contacted me directly, we may have reached an understanding and the chance to clarify what weve done to get your product idea licensed and are continuing to do!Bottom line the product is your BABY and there is an investment on your part to make to cover the costs of exposing your item to contacts that I have developed over nearly 40 years and so far, there has been no commitment but should there be we will forward any communication from an interested party to you in spite of this poor review which I try to understand is because of your disappointment that no one has voiced an interest in your new product but all we can do is give your new idea exposure and represent you if the item stems interest but it was not from a lack of our due diligence but rather so far no once has voiced interest in your idea.Review fromAndrew H.

After getting my patent, I was contacted by Patents to Retail shortly thereafter.I was already trying to sell my invention online and thought that using a more established company to submit to brick and mortar stores would be a good idea. They would not provide me with any peer references for privacy reasons (if I recall correctly). They would not sign my mutual nondisclosure agreement. We had to only use their NDA.I gave them $7,000 upfront to pitch my product for 12 months I would receive 15% of all gross income from any contracts procured. According to the emails, they pitched my product to at least 40 companies over the contract (I didn't count them, but it was a lot). I sent them products and provided them with background information both written and verbal so that they could better fill out the submissions to the companies. They said they can't provide actual submissions because of non-disclosure agreements, but they could provide a "mock-up" and show me what they were pitching. I asked for a mock-up both verbally and in writing but never received one.The monthly email updates were timely but had lots of grammatical errors and seemed generic (i.e. copy/pasted from a prior email). In one email my representative said they, "...reached out with updated information and are awaiting further communication regarding approvals, negated pricing, or attention to other details... that are relevant at this time for buyers or retails." When I asked for more information, I did not get a response. At one point I asked to use a different email address and phone number because I was wanting to shut my company down. All updates continued to go to the original company email address. At the 12 month ***** I was told I would receive quarterly updates. I have not received an update. My ************************** February 2022.Initially it felt great, but I sadly wouldn't recommend patents to retail based on my experience based on everything mentioned above.Patents to Retail

I am ********************* the owner, President, and inventor myself of Patents to Retail and read with dismay your 2-star rating. So let me reply step by step to your comments.Yes, my company is a great idea to get your new product in front of major mass retailers and e commerce sites because we do have working relationships with many both brick and mortar as well as e commerce sites and we ship them literally weekly, so yes, we are a great opportunity that we can get your new product idea in front of our contacts. You further stated you did get updates for the 12 months of our Agreement somewhere around 40 contacts made which you acknowledge, so yes, we did what was agreed to by getting your product in front of major retailers e commerce sites as well as other retailers. Once again, we upheld our part of the Agreement.I do apologize for typographical/grammatical errors which I will address with my staff, but the bottom line is we did get your product in front of more than 3 dozen potential licensors because of our contacts. You also mentioned the * D A, which we have and publish right on our web site. The reason for the * D A is so you our client feels comfortable to convey the details of your new product so we can make the best possible offering but to expect my company to use your * D A or those of our many clients would necessitate my attorney reading each one, and as attorneys go would find something hed want revised and the lawyers go back and forth. In turn my firms * D A is written simply and clearly without all the legalize terms lawyers use. So, your expectation that my firm should sign your * D A is simply cost prohibitive and if you didnt like mine (which you clearly did since you executed it) you didnt have to move further into a business relationship with my firm. Our Agreement is for 1 year but since it takes time for buyers and potential licensors to decide, we continue to monitor our offerings for an additional year at *O further charge and if that quarterly update is a bit late one will be coming to you before this week is over.I assume your dismay is that we've not been successful in licensing your product, but we did get it out there for consideration and we never can promise that anyone will produce or license your new idea but do and did get it offered to many potential licensors. As an inventor myself and in this business for 39 years I have nearly 2 dozen patents issued under my name and during my career I have come out with literally hundreds of new products and the fact is most new products do fail and I have had more than my fair share but those that made it and sold and are still selling successfully have been worth it.Id be happy to discuss this further if youd like but my firm clearly upheld to our Agreement and as most new products fail as offered to the marketplace is just how it is but we did our job and frankly well with getting your product in front of more the 3 dozen prospective licensors.Review fromMelba H

I had what I thought was a good idea, but didn't know how to get it where it needed to be to be profitable. I tried a "we help new inventors" outfit which did get me a patent, they were no help in marketing. About 3 years later I got a phone call. The team has been very helpful in all aspects of the process, even when I procrastinated with some of my input. We are very close to seeing my idea in retail outlets.Patents to Retail
