      Advocate Good Samaritan Outpatient Center Dishonesty ...Deception and dishonesty? You can decide. I walked into this facility with a case of poison ivy. I was told by the employee it would cost ****** for the visit. The *** took 10 minutes and gave me a script. A few months later I get a bill in the mail for ******! Liars and thieves? I am waiting for a phone call from the manager. Several days later, no call from her. I expect more bills in the mail. ********************** insurance s is the WORST insurance choice a person can make. Picked a plan through ****************************** and within a few months my primary care choice "Advocate Good Samaritan" was deleted from the system with no customer notification. The level of customer service and customer satisfaction is a 1/10. Automated phone system and no one takes any responsibility. GREED at the highest level. This is a perfect example of the Medical Industry Business. Overpriced for profit Medical Business is a SCAM. Avoid at all costs. I was in shock to get such a large bill and this is with an insurance card. I went back to the facility with the bill and, of course, there was no manager on duty. A reply will be helpful for all of us. I would like this bill adjusted to 0.00 and a letter of apology from the staff. I will be leaving more reviews and telling family, friends and the public of my experience. Thank you, **

      I had an orthopedic exam and was directed to make an appointment at the physical therapy office in the same building (they literally share a lobby). I was billed $1200+ for the PT, and my insurance only covered the deductible for it because the PT is billed as being an outpatient hospital visit with Illinois Masonic. The Ortho appt was my usual $30 copay. I had no idea this was going to be billed the way it was until I got a surprise bill after visit #3. This is the ********** and Sheffield Sports medicine/ortho office. Buyer beware with this shady billing practice.

      Trying to schedule an appointment and get a call center who ask for my number in case disconnected and then when we get disconnected never calls back try calling on hold forever. So recording tells you quicker to use your Live Well app. and that isnt doing anything but thinking. Pretty bad when you cant call directly to your Care Provider but have to jump through hoops. I am about fed up.

      HORRIBLE CUST. SERVICE. UNPROFESSIONAL, ARGUMENTATIVE, LACK OF EMPATHY. SO BAD,THAT I WAS SUPPOSEDLY ON HOLD AND I COULD HEAR TWO PEOPLE TALK ABOUT COOKING NECKBONES! (MY HEALTHCARE PERSON WAS INCREDULOUS) THIS HAS HAPPENED WITHA WHEELCHAIR AND NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH A MEDICAL BED.

      I took my son yesterday to the location in *****************. The Doctor was very pushy with medication for my son and vaccines. When I said I did not want any shots in my son he lost all respect for me and stopped communicating with me, continuing to talk only with my son. Rude! He is clearly a business man. Staff on the other hand was kind and humane.

      My complaint is with Advocate Health Care in ******, **. My first year on traditional ******** in 2024 so in May, 2024, I had my first ******** Wellness visit. Doctor order a few tests, one being a DEXA scan which ******** should cover. However, the wrong code was used when the claim was submitted to ******** and they rejected. You would think this would be an easy fix. To date, March 4, 2025, this hasn't been resolved. (I have filed an appeal with ********). After several attempts to call Advocate and talk with Advocate Billing and Advocate provider Nurses, the issue is unresolved. ******** said that Advocate actually has a special telephone number for Advocate to call for issues like this. However, Advocate told me they do NOT call ******** on behalf of the patient incorrect coding on any claim. Advocate does not care about their patients. I've been a patient here for over 30 years and will be changing my health care provider to another more reputable health care provider in the area which cares about their patients, gives excellent health care and can also can work with you to get billing correct!       Dr. ****** *******, terrible! I've been with Advocate for decades. Never have I had a Dr. *** refuses to respond to her patient. Advocate itself has no consumer support department other than surveys you receive in an email and with no indication that anyone reads them. I will be switching my affiliation.

      Went to immediate Care in ******* Illinois. On 10/30/2024 had a fever of ***** the night before and vomiting, chills, and cough COVID, Flu, and Step test done all negative. The Dr. **** me it was a cold should be better in 7 days. I was miserable so weak could hardly walk chills. I went to a different immediate Care 5 days later Diagnosed with pneumonia! Thankfully I listened to my body and did not take Drs. advice I will never use Advocate again. I would never recommend any one else to also.

      My elderly mother was an inpatient at ******* Hospital while suffering from pneumonia. In a matter of a few days I received a call to come to pick her up, When I arrived it was very obvious to me that she was still severely stricken with pneumonia. I and my cousin waited for four to five hours for the nurse to release her. Approximately a year or two later my mother was again an inpatient at this hospital. It was very obvious to her that they put her into a **** in which the patients were expected to die shortly,. The door to her room was left wide open so that she could view all the dead patients being whisked off in gurneys. I would not recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.

      Dreyer medical group billing department has the worse service anyone can receive. In order for me to speak to "******" Manager of the *************** to solve an issue it took me like 8 phones calls. He told me that the right person was going to call me to follow up and to solve the issue. After waiting for three week, I call on 2/13/24 and spoke to ***** who sent ****** and message. He never called me back. Today, 2/19/24 I call and "***" took my phone, he refused to take my phone call as I was on the phone with "***". She was communicating to ****** and refusing to take my phone call. He didn't have the professionalism to take my phone call. I am really upset. Nobody should go through this situation specially when they make a medical mistake.
