      I called April 20th 2023 to apply for financial assistance to help pay my bill..A rude woman answered and said that because my bill is in collections I was not eligible for financial assistance. She hung up on me. Not acceptable.

      The doctors do not care about you, only about prescribing you medications that you do not need. Always get second opinions outside of your clinic. They dont listen to you either and what your symptoms are or arent. Youre just a number and a paycheck to them. Billing also *****, its amazing that I can be charged $352 for a video visit that I was not even in the building for. The doctor ***** even tell me anything substantial. Save your money and peace of mind and go anywhere else.

      These people are horrible SCAMMERS!! I needed help and couldn't drive to a doctor, called their "Teledoc" line. I was in terrific pain, and had not slept in weeks. The rude person (who was NOT a doctor) on the other end would not help me, told me all the same stuff google said (pretty much word-for-word), then told me to drive myself to a doctor, would not help with a prescription, either for pain, or for sleep. If I could have driven to a doctor, why would I call in?
      Then they charged me $135!!! Truly, these people should be exposed.

      Our in-network doctor at Advocate Health Care directed one of our family members to get a flu shot. She asked us to follow the nurse who took us to the flu clinic just one floor down. Months later we got a bill for $85 saying the doctor who administered the flu shot was out of network. Worse, Advocate Health Care sent the bill to collections. Our insurance fully covers preventive care within network and we shouldn't have had to pay the bill. The staff at Advocate Health Care that reviewed our insurance failed to inform us that the flu shot provider was out of network. When we called the Advovate Health Care billing department, they refused to help us saying the bill was already with collections and there was nothing they could do. We ended up paying the bill just to stop being harassed by collections. Stay away from this place.

      this review is for the Patient Billing Contact Center, Advocate screwed up my payment plan after updating new card info and then canceled my plan. Every woman i spoke to had nothing but attitude and was so ********************** especially. They always are though! Any time i have tried to call, it is a RARE occasion that i get someone nice with actual customer service skills.. Then they tried telling me to set up another plan id have to pay $150 more a month or my bill will go to collections. How can something go to collections that you are trying to make payments on??? No one would transfer me to a superior or someone higher up. Finally, a woman by the name of ******* gets on the phone and allllll of a sudden my previous payment plan was approved.. THANK YOU *******!!!! I really wish i had never started going to Advocate, any location, ever. Unfortunately, i have crohns disease, and will always have medical bills, but at least i am trying to pay something monthly.

      Horrible service!! No matter what situation your in you will have to wait 15+hours to see a doctor.. completely unacceptable do not go here for urgent care!!

      My father goes to the Advocate at 25th in ************* *******. What a **** nightmare! I intend to get him registered with my health clinic instead. The doctors, the office staff, the CNAs are totally unprofessional and have NEVER heard of the term "bedside manner." I am in the process of contacting the corporate office. There is no way a elderly man have to run around trying to find out why his prescription medicine hasn't been filled!!!

      The Doctors name is *************************** of the **************** **. location She was inconsistent/unprofessional I came in for my annual check-up and to get a medical report form filled out but, I didn't get any of that done. My whole day was waisted and upseting. Instead this Doctor started yelling at me! She was Ill-informed about services Advocate Medical Group provides and how It works. In all the years that I've had doctors visits, never have I had one yell at me about anything. She also started waving her hand in my face to the point she started arguing with me. The Intern who came in the room with her witness all of this. This doctor tried to perscripe medication that I didn't need and act as if it was life threating if I didn't take it! Not giving any alternatives such as diet or exercise. I just had blood test for things she order. All of the test came back normal. This she stated out of her mouth.. Test results show..But on this day all of my test proved wrong, and now I must take pills as she claims! She even went on to try and say I was diabetic, which I'm not nor do I have high cholesterol.Then after this heated argument about her yelling at me, she wanted to take my blood presure! Really!I told her that I'm not doing that because You've upset me, my blood peasure will be high.. Even the intern agreed.. She got angry about that I'll never go back to she her again! I WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST HER!She stated that she's the Director of the **************** Office, when I asked to speak to her superior or persons over her. She shrugged her ******** and walked away.I would still like to speak to her Superiors..This is totally unacceptable! Thank you , Rich
