    This company is terrible. I engaged ******* services and was quoted a down-payment of $100. I paid $1000. When contacted *****, I explained that I did not wish to proceed with the work at that time due to concerns related to COVID-19. To my surprise, I discovered THEIR CONTRACT IS ONE-SIDED TERMS ADN CONDITIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW FOR REFUNDS IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. This clause was not adequately communicated to me during our discussions or highlighted prior to signing the contract. The contract was signed via an iPad.Upon reviewing the contract thoroughly, it was heavily skewed in favor of Encor Garage, with NO consideration for the consumer's rights and protections. The absence of a refund policy or any provision for unforeseen circumstances, such as a global pandemic, demonstrates the unfairness of the contract terms.Despite my efforts to resolve this matter amicably, ***** has been unresponsive and unwilling to address the issue. I firmly believe their refusal to refund the overpaid deposit is unjust and unreasonable, considering the circumstances and the absence of any work performed.Because of their contract, I would not recommend them to do anything for anyone AT ALL. This is not how you do business. The do not deserve the 1 star. DO NOT USE THEM! I will also put this on social media.

    Thanks for your honest feedback. Unfortunately, we can only conduct business based on the terms of a written contract which is signed contract by both parties as was the case. If contracts did not have to be honored what would stop nefarious contractors from suddenly requesting higher fees once the work is completed. If that happened, the customer would immediately point to the contract and say we agree on this in writing. I am sure you see my point. In any case, we are happy to allow you to use the down payment anytime in the future.

    I bought a house and my realtor said I needed to fix my window wells. After a year, we noticed the window well was leaking. I called Well Expert (WE) to assess and fix my leaky window. They assessed and sold me on custom well covers. They installed them and that was that. I recently noticed though that my window continued to leak. I called WE on their customer service line to offer them an opportunity to fix it. They never got back to me. I had 2 other companies come out and tell me there's a problem with the drainage and it will cost me $3000 to fix. I finally talk to WE by asking for an estimate and they tell me it will cost $3,000. Then I tell them it's because of their earlier work. They offer me a $200 discount. I go with somebody else, but then write a review. Their owner calls me twice and sends me a barrage of texts, gaslighting me, telling me he's having me removed from ******* I'm wrong, etc. He admits his company didn't offer well replacements at the time, so he says my complaint can't be about him. The truth is I had a problem and instead of suggesting I fix the problem-his team instead sold me expensive custom made well covers. So in the end, I'm out of thousands of dollars and my problem is not fixed. I had to block the owner from my phone to stop the harassment.

    Thanks for taking the time to provide an assessment of your experience. However, I believe this is some confusion and would like to try to clear this up. When you called our company several years ago you ordered custom window well covers to prevent water from entering your well.- smart move! That is one of the benefits of window well covers and to this day your covers continue to do their job. But unfortunately, your window well seepage problem grew over the last several years. This happened because you window wells themselves started pulling away from the wall. This creates another point of entry for water into the basement and this requires a different solution which is to replace the wells. It is a more expensive solution, and we were happy to provide you with a competitive price. I hope this clears things up, please don't hesitate to if we can help.

    Hi ***** -Thanks for your feedback. All of our quotes our done right over the phone based on the measurements and configuration you provide to **. In your case you failed to mention your window was higher than the top of your well after we asked. We were also very clear that the price could change if your information was not accurate. When we spoke with you and explained why the slight difference you said you understood and asked if we could provide any additional consessions, which we did. if there is anything else we can do please don't hesitate to call. I hope you enjoy your new window well covers.

    I was VERY unhappy with the service with this business, one of the worst I have ever encountered. From the beginning of the process it was a huge mess. First talked to **** the rep who quoted me a price never did I confirm to schedule the installation, one week later I arrive home to a trail of cut pieces of plexiglass by the well with the cover installed. Never did I agree or schedule the service never did I approve . Month later passes a women calls me to collect payment I then ask for a possible discount due to the installment without my approval keep in mind was planning on moving after got quote . So she then says she will call me back, never did she call me back 2 days later they go to the house take the covers back when clearly was willing to pay. They went and again left a trail of mess unreal this business has 0 communication skills from the beginning to the end . Worst service in the market

    We were very unhappy with both the service and product. Well Experts installed a cover on our egress window well that is so tall it is almost impossible to exit. After you climb the well ladder you now have a foot of plexiglass to climb over. The edges of the plexiglass are not finished making them very sharp to the touch. I expressed my dissatisfaction of the product and workmanship as well as the safety issue. I was told by the sales rep that it would be a liability to change it and they refused to do so. I'm not sure what they meant my a liability, since now the well is a safety hazard. The installer also left sharp pieces of plexiglass all over the yard and street. I am happy for anyone that could give this company a five star, I personally have never dealt with a company that cares so little for the safety and satisfaction of their costumer, or quality of what they are selling.

I am sorry we did not do a better job of explaining everything before the process began, but I can assure you we have installed the same safe configuration for thousands of customers over the years.
