I saw an advertisement for Super Ego Holdings, LLC on social media. I contacted them about their lease to own program. My cousin and I flew to ************, ** (I was responsible for our airline tickets) to pick up one of Super Egos trucks and trailer. My recruiter from this company promised me that they had a fleet of newer trucks to choose from. When we got there, I was surprised at how beat up the fleet was aesthetically, but I know its the engine/transmission function that is of the most importance. I had to use my own money to fill the gas tanks up in order to get back to **, something else that I was not aware of until I got there. Only by the ***** of God did we make it back safely because both front tires were so bald and missing chunks of rubber out of the steer tires (in the front). I have had the truck and trailer for just about a month. A few days ago, I went to start the truck to go pick up a load and it would not start. After finally getting a call back from dispatch, I was told to call roadside assistance. I called them immediately (1:30pm) that day. They didnt come until 9:45 a.m. the following morning. I was told that the alternator wasnt charging the batteries sufficiently. After following the tow truck driver to CT to the truck repair shop, I had to wait several hours for someone to fax the paperwork in order for the mechanic to begin working on the truck. It never came. I was there so long that the mechanic told me to just go ahead back home and that they would call me when they received the approval paperwork. I never got a call back. Instead, the next morning I called the dispatcher to ask him what the issue was with the approval and was told that I no longer needed an approval for repair because the battery voltage went back up to 14.2 volts. (It was down to 12 the day before.) I have yet to be paid for any of my deliveries, and yesterday afternoon they picked up the truck without prior notice nor ************** one will answer my callInitial Complaint

I recently submitted a $1,000 deposit to Super Ego Holdings for the purpose of securing a trailer. Unfortunately, I was not provided with any detailed information about the trailer until after the deposit had been received. Once I received the relevant details, I reviewed the terms and found them to be unsatisfactory.After consulting with my insurance agent and business advisors, I was informed that the trailer in question was significantly overpriced and over-insured. Based on their recommendations, I decided not to move forward with the agreement and promptly informed the salesperson of my decision, requesting a refund.Shortly thereafter, I was told that there is a two-week holding period on refunds. This policy was never disclosed to me prior to the transaction, nor did I agree to such terms. Additionally, the salesperson indicated a lack of concern regarding how the matter would be resolved, which I found to be both unprofessional and **************** this time, I am without the $1,000 depositfunds that are critical for securing alternative equipment. This situation places an unnecessary and significant burden on both myself and my business operations.I am respectfully requesting a prompt resolution and refund of the deposit. On April 26th we were on I10 in *******, I was driving the speed limit because I had just picked up my wife from back surgery, the truck behind me got over, then got in front of me, slammed on his breaks and turned his wheel to get off freeway three lanes, forcing me either into the wall or exiting as well. I had to slam on my breaks to avoid hitting a wall, as a result my wife is in severe pain from slamming on the breaks after back surgery. The truck # is either A72999 or A72990. After getting forced off freeway, he gets back on freeway and flips me off. He is very angry and he could have caused a major accident. I contacted the company via phone, no reply, contacted on ********, no reply, contacted owner via email no reply. Dear BBB:I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the denial of access to my personal property, which is currently in a semi-truck with VIN# ending in 8908, License # ********, and Trailer # ******, Plate # ******, registered in ********, involving **************/AM ***********/SUPEREGOHOLDING. The incident took place in *******, ******* On the 7th of February 2025, I sought assistance from the ****************************** in retrieving my belongings from the semi-truck. Despite being escorted by the police to CLT Towing and Transport located at *********************************, I was denied access to my property. This includes vital personal items such as $2,000 in cash, a laptop, tools, straps, clothing stored in two suitcases, legal documents, two boombox radios, and two orange cones, among other possessions essential to my role as a truck driver, which I am passionate about.The police department's involvement did not result in the successful retrieval of my belongings, and subsequent communication attempts with ************** and their affiliates have been unsuccessful. Despite numerous calls to contacts provided, including numbers such as ************; and several others, I have yet to receive any helpful information or resolution regarding my property.Furthermore, a 1099 form I initially received from ************** indicated a payment of $84,000.00 for 2023, using the taxpayer ID **********, located at **************************************************. A subsequent correction form was issued in the name of ********* with a different taxpayer ID **********, based at *****************************. This discrepancy has added further confusion and frustration to my situation.I am reaching out to the Better Business Bureau in hopes of resolving this matter and obtaining access to my possessions. Super ego uses multiple business licenses and DOT/MC to avoid federal and state penalties for their criminal activity. During the month I was contracted with them they both tampered with earning statements, failed to disburse funds after work completed and disobeyed federal law by modifying ********* They also intentionally forced me to drive a CMV that was not in DOT compliance by stranding me in ** and refusing to make necessary repairs to get back on the road over a week which costs me an entire week of earnings twice. They also refused to provide contact information for the customer when I was left hanging with a rejected barrel of product over 4 days and never came up with instructions on what to do with that barrel. Super ego also charged me fees that were frivolous and without consent to reduce the amount they would have had to pay me if they had actually paid me for my contracted labor as a driver.Initial Complaint

I decided to terminate my business arrangement with Super Ego Holding. At that point I contacted them to arrange the return of the equipment and before any clear arrangements were made Super Ego decided to retrieve the equipment before I could get my personal belongings out. The only option they offered was for me to travel from ***** to ******** to retrieve my belongings. These items include navigation devices, laptop, microwave, tools and clothes.Initial Complaint

Superego is one of the worse companies a truck driver can go too. They lie, cheat drivers out of there money from driving and cash on hand. They will charge you over 150k for a truck thats not properly working and have you driving thousands of miles to burn you out of your funds. They violate the *** laws and the government and dont care about the drivers. Something has to be done about this company I had to spend over $1600 of my own money coming to this company to get burned out of loads and break downs. They stole my truck and had all my items still in it and I had to bring the police for assistance. I ended up spending more money than I made and it wasnt much. Being at this company I never seen a check over $800. I would run and get burned by the dispatchers every week. When I tried to manage my own loads they would try and stop me and there posting says self dispatch which is a lie. They violated company to company policies and rights. They did not do things that was suppose to be done.
