Don’t trust this dealership. We were warned of their ways but since they had the car we wanted coming in we thought we would give them a chance. NEVER AGAIN. Went in to put a deposit on a car that was in transit. The sales manager printed out the total cost of the car with almost 8k dollars of ridiculous up charges such as:
    1. VIN etching for $1000–most insurance agents will do it for free or the kit on Amazon is $25 and you can do it yourself.
    2. Destinations charge which we knew were already included in the MSRP and we pointed that out to them.
    3. A $5000 Protection plan which we didn’t need or want especially since the car we were interested in already had the paint protection option on it.
After a long discussion over these items they finally agreed to remove the VIN etching and destination charges but not the $5000 Protection charges so we walked out. We have since received 2 ‘out the door’ quotes from reputable Toyota dealers and have a deposit down on a car without paying a penny over MSRP, and no trade in. Fox Lake Toyota gives car dealerships a bad wrap.

Dealership will attempt to scam you with a $5k add-on that costs them $100 to install, and refuse purchase if you don't go along with their scam. Stay away at all costs.

Price advertised will not be honored. They add $4500 for paint protection and gps tracking which I am sure that the paint protection was not applied. Sent them an email regarding white spots all over the body paint but never got a reply. Oil due indicator was beeping and their alibi was that maybe it was just wasn't reset. I checked the oil myself and it was very low. Went back to the dealership and used the complimentary oil change and I had to wait for 2 hours for that oil change. Sitting without any update. Don't buy from this dealership.

Great service department. Every visit has been seamless. The service advisors I have worked with have been helpful. I don't own a Toyota but have made this my shop for service.

Went in for a complimentary oil change. Assistant ******* manager (**********************) went over the inspection report when the car was done. First thing I should replace was the cabin air filter at a price of $60. Little did they know I replaced it less than 24 hours ago. I spoke with the ******* manager (*****************************) and he really didnt have much to say. The technician claims the engine air filter was dirty so he ASSUMED the cabin air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced as well. I made sure other customers waiting for their vehicles knew what to look out for. They explained that my car hasnt been *******d by then in ****** miles.. dont you think everything should be recommended for replacement then? I then spoke with the General Manager (*******************). His first words after looking over the inspection report were So you upset about a free oil change? To this comment I responded Are you f***ing kidding me! I apologize for the swear but I was completely frustrated. **** was more concerned about the one f bomb I dropped in front of zero sales customers than actually resolving an issue. No actually Im upset that you lost any credibility you had and this is the exact reason why car dealers and some repairs shops have this image. He brought the ******* manager over and I asked how they inspect various parts of the car and he admitted you have to inspect the cabin air filter to see that its dirty. What other inspections did they do? I explained to the ** that I was in the market for a new vehicle his response was go buy it elsewhere. I will make sure I do so and I will share my experience at this dealer continuously and on various platforms.

Worst service department in the area!! I brought my 2020 Camry in because it had a leak out of the power transfer unit and it should still be covered under warranty. They couldnt find the leak, but didnt even take the plastic off of the bottom of the car to look. Once we pointed out the leak they claimed they couldnt tell where it was coming from and cleaned it off. Later when I came to pick it up, they claimed that they put dye in the engine to find the leak. I checked the oil, they didnt. Also, the leak is in the transmission so that wouldnt do anything. Then they charged me for the die they didnt actually put in my engine. Ive since brought my car to a different dealership and they found the leak right away and confirmed that I was charged for dye that was never used.
