On February 22, 2025, I placed an order with Toyota of Fox Lake for a new 2025 Camry. The dealer confirmed our agreement via e-mail, so the car I wanted to purchase should arrive between March 1, 2025, and March 15, 2025.The dealer also provided the car's VIN number #4T1DAACK0SU09B932.I called the dealer on March 14th to confirm the delivery status. Then the dealer replied that the car was not ordered. The VIN number provided by the dealer was revealed as an invalid one on Toyota's VIN check ********** wife went through emotional stress because of what ************ I have to start the car purchase process from the beginning again.

??????STEER AWAY FROM TOYOTA OF FOX LAKE! This is my email to the general manager of Toyota of Fox Lake to which he didn't even bother to respond with an emoticon. ?????? What a shame ??????*****, Thank you for your time, but I must express my disappointment in the way my inquiry has been handled. I was initially quoted a final price for the 2012 Toyota Prius, and when I began negotiating, I was told that the price was non-negotiable because the car hadnt even been inspected yet. This is concerning to me for several reasons:How can the dealership set a final price for the car without knowing its condition? If it hasnt been inspected, how do you know its safe to drive? I was expecting a transparent and honest process, but this situation leaves me unsure about the true value and safety of the vehicle. Its troubling that I was presented with a final price without the necessary inspection, and I'm left questioning how much confidence I can have in this transaction if the vehicle's condition hasn't been properly assessed. I would appreciate some clarification on this matter before I proceed any further.I was told by the salesman **** Giessele and the sales manager ***** *******, that I'll be called later in the day with a response. It didn't happen.Very unprofessional!I feel that they treated me unfair, thinking that I'm a women and I know nothing about cars.Big mistake!Thank you for allowing me to express my concerns about the lack of inspection, potential safety issues, and pricing inconsistencies in a professional and respectful manner"Of course they lowered the price of the car the next day. Hmm, I wonder why that is. Watch out, would be customers!

Hi, I am having issues with a car I bought on Sept 19th after 3 hours of buying the car engines overheating. The car is a ***** Accord 2020 EX hybrid. They are not helping me. Their seems to be a missed information after being at the dealership twice within 7 days. I took to the dealership to have it inspected. The car engine overheat on me 2 times within 7 days. I need help because I got screwed over with a lemon car that doesn't work. The dealership sold me a defective car within 7 days of owning the car. It has been sent for repairs by dealership, but they are not disclosing information on the ***** 6 2020 ex hybrid. Also, i got the dealership warranty on the car. I am not happy how I almost lost my job because of this. My situation is not resolved. The dealership is playing the run around with me. I've been in a loaner car twice within 7 days." Toyota of Fox Lake is not honoring the contract and not wanting to work with me. Currently, I am still in a loaner car. I need a lawyer that will help me fight this unfair game. If I don't do anything soon. I may be fired. They keep trying to put in a lemon car that don't work.

Went in for regular maintenance and was told it would be $802. They added fuel and engine oil additives to the list and told me I needed coolant flushed before even looking at the car. They gave me a checkup list when I left. Nobody had mentioned any lights being out, but the note said there was a fog light out. The oil change was $213.I was a loyal customer of their service department for 7 years. I am looking elsewhere for my car service. I can no longer afford this place.

Our purchase experience started off well but didnt end that way. We were lied to during the purchase and the dealership had no intention of honoring their promise. We had to contact Toyota ************* to make them follow through with their word. The people at corporate easily realized the problem and made the dealership give us what we paid for. If you decide to deal with them you may want to remember corporate is out there. We love our Toyotas but we will never buy from this dealership again.

The online/web photo and price of a used ****************************************** is misrepresented. The online photo of the truck was a stock photo and not of the truck they intended to sell. When I visted the dealership on 12/26/2023 to look at the truck the salesman stated that they haven't detailed the truck yet and he was not sure what needed to be done with the decals on the truck? The truck seemed to be in good shape but there were extensive decals all over the body of the truck from a prior business. When I asked what the dealership was going to do about the decals the salesman said that he talked to his boss and stated that they would have to charge me more if they had to remove the decals! He then added that possibly I could remove them or maybe I know a guy that could? Simply stated, the picture of the truck is not what is represented and there will be an additional cost above the listed web price to rectify the removal of the decals. Thank God for prior Yelp and the Better Business Bureau reviews! After reviewing Yelp and BBB comments, I felt compelled to write this. In the distant past I had purchsed a car and later a truck from this dealership with no questionable issues. Something has changed and I do not intend to do busness with them any longer.

Went there today for a used car. to my surprise price was up by ***** above the advertised price, that consist of accessories certification, vin etch and destination. I told the manager that we should be talking about the advertised price plus the usually the tax, registration and documentation fees. He said that's not true. I said how about the **** APR rate that Toyota is offering and he said he is not aware of but it is 8.9, No clue of the current APR??? I had 3 purchases in that place all brand new over the years and always had good experience. I commend ***** for he is really trying to sell me the car, but then manager??? No clue what's going on.... better find another job sir you don't DO A GOOD JOB. Is this a new management.... worst experience in my buying life. I told them that there are other dealership around the area, which I did. Advertised price, I ask the APR they know what's current, I ask if they honor advertised $$$$ off form other dealership with ****** or more, we'll match it was the answer without hesitation. What else can you ask for, run me a paper work and boom done in 1 1/2 hrs, walking out with a brand used car, ha ha ha... Toyota ******** I came back and you did not treated me well, sorry I would not come back...

What a change. Terrible customer service recently. Bought 3 cars in one year there. They would not repair a part on our sons Prius- a simple roof part that I had replaced at a shop in Richmond for $60.00. The first manager told me he would investigate and get back to me. Never did Two days later, a second manager said I had too much time on my hands. Whatever. Cicero Avenue has come to ********. Tread very carefully if you deal with Fox Lake Toyota

Update this place literally held my hand so I'd give them a 5 star review. Sorry to say they deserve 0 stars. For one the car I was looking at was priced 8k online. They jacked it up 50%.They gave me a run around and I really need the car so I signed it all and figured out they crossed me a day later.Second thing the tire light was on. **** said they checked the tired and all was fine. They didn't know why it went on.Few days later at a tire place it turned out there was a huge s**** in one if tires.Third thing they put a sticker oil change at 116k. My oil lamp started flashing at 114k.Turned out there was literally no oil in engine. The very tip of oil stick. And super dirty. There were few other issues but these 3 are terrible. You can have your pick here. This place is either extremely fraudulent extremely incompetent or extremely fraudulent and incompetent
