    ALEC credit union's ********************* practices are extremely poor, and caused me late fees as well as interest fees, and may have affected my credit score. - I set up a **** credit card payment, using ALEC's online bill payment service, on December 13th, 2022. - The **** bill was due on December 20th, which was a full week later. The bill payment process elected to pay using non-electronic means (a paper check sent to the **** accounts receivable address). - **** did not receive the payment until DECEMBER 30th, as confirmed by contacting ****'s Customer Service. This was fully two weeks from when I set up the payment on ALEC's bill payment center. - I incurred late payment fees, interest fees and this may have impacted my credit rating. - THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN ONE YEAR THAT THIS COMPANY HAS CAUSED THIS ISSUE.

    We are very concerned about Ms. ******** concerns. We are reaching out to her directly to obtain some additional details and will work rapidly to ensure that any fees incurred though no fault of her own will be returned to her. Additionally, we do believe that we will be able to find a solution that ensures that she does not have this issue again.

    We have connected with ****************** regarding her concerns and have provided her with alternate payment options for her credit card. In addition, we refunded all fees incurred. ****************** was pleased that we proactively contacted her to resolve her issue.
