    We purchased our Palisade Limited at Gurnee Hyundai after test driving several cars. Before coming in I had emailed and called and had quick friendly responses to my question.
    The customer service was great.
    Our salesman, Pasha was knowledgeable, professional and very friendly.

    This place pulled the bait and switch on my S/O and I. My S/O ******** and I came here so he could finance a vehicle. It was a 2012 ****** Sentra with 140K miles listed for $3K. We go there, do the finance app, finish test driving, come back to go over the terms and numbers. **** sets the paper down that says $300 per month car payment for 30 months. What, that's $9000. We're thinking something is wrong, we ask what interest rate he is getting. 29% fixed rate. Well that still does not add up. At this point, I'm looking at the paper and realize it says **** will be financing $5995. I bring this to ****'s attention thinking there was a mistake. Nope, no mistake made. The car is actually $7000. I explain that the car is listed for $3000, and we confirmed this with **** multiple times. Apparently they like to charge $4000 in fees here at Gurnee Hyundai. $2500 for some clear coat on the car (which this car was scratched and beat up, it honestly needed a paint job). A $995 dealership fee, which when we asked about what that was for **** replied "it's a fee" for what? "the dealership" Are you kidding me? This place is a joke. Then obviously there were taxes and government fees listed as well for somewhere around $400 which we were told from the beginning those were going to be the only fees charged. The taxes and government fees are justified that's a given but $3495 in dealership fees? What is going on here? **** goes back to speak with her supervisor about the fees, comes back with the price changed to $6995 financing. They added an additional $1000 in fees because **** was required to purchase a "warranty" for the vehicle because he had no credit. That one literally made no sense. We went over the price and how much was to be financed multiple times. If they were honest from the beginning we would have went on our way. Complete disrespect to us wasting 2.5 hours of our time here. They will lie to you up and down to make a sale hoping you will just sign the paper.

    MOST OF THE GOOD REVIEWS FAKE-- This dealership will "give" you free mats for your vehicle when you show them proof you gave them a 5 star reviews on 2 different websites---- so they paid for all these "great 5 star reviews". This dealership is the **** of **** and Switch!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE if you don't believe me, keep reading all the bad reviews. Or Go to their own website and read the bad reviews there. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They Post their cars online for one price --- lets say $20k, but what they don't say is that they have added UPGRADES to the car-- that you MUST BUY - that are NOT included in that listed price. That cost of the UPGRADE is anywhere from $4,000 to $6,000. This is according to my experience and the other reviews I read ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE! To me that is "**** and Switch". They list a car online for $20k really BIG, then they have TINY TINY small print at the bottom of the page that says you must pay for the Tax, Title and Upgrades. THIS UNSCRUPULOUS sales tactic changes a $20k car you came to look at into a $24k car before you ever step a foot on the lot. That is **** and Switch.     Horrible experience with Gurnee Hyundai service - multiple attempts to correct leaking sunroof. ***** Hyundai in ******* immediately diagnosed the issues with the leaking sunroof. They included photos of missing and broken parts due to poor workmanship of Gurnee Hyundai.***** Hyundai in ******* is farther away, but well worth the trip to know you car is being serviced by experts who know what they are doing and care about their work.

    I loved the great attention and help that they gave me in every step of the process. Most dealerships I would've spent the whole day, but not with this group. I was in and out in under 3 hours. I would recommend this dealership with buying a car and financing. Keep up the great work!
