On September 16th 2024 I hired global To clean my entire 1600 square foot crawl space with a hep of back including all the cobwebs lie down of vis Queen moisture barrier and remediate mold from the upper surface. I paid ****** ****** $1900 for his 45 minutes of work. He did not complete the job the crawl space is filthy. He told me that he would come back within a week to vacuum up any debris that was left.. He also told me not to go down there for at least 4 days. When I opened the crawl 4 days later it was filthy it was as if he hadn't even been there. I then sent him a text and I told him that the place was filthy and that he needed to come back and finish the job He told me that he would be back on Friday and I told him that Friday didn't work because I was in the city but Tuesday would work I never heard back from him. After reading his reviews which I should have done before I hired him he had several saying that he was a scam artist and not to trust him. I contacted him and I told him that I wanted my money back or else I would seek out an attorney because he scammed me out of $1900. I own my own home I'm 66 and Was scammed out of $1900 this makes me sick. He gave me a 25 year warranty which I don't really think is real did not hepavac the crawl space at all. Please help me to get my money back from this man who was not honest and did not complete his work. I have pictures of the crawl I have copies of the contract but I don't know how to send the contract.. I hope that the Better Business Bureau can help me resolve this. We have read the complaint by this customer , we provided a service performed, exactly the services required by us per line item detailed in the estimate we swept out and cleaned the crawlspace. We applied antimicrobial to the crawlspace, and we installed vapor barrier visqueen plastic down in areas of missing sections in the crawlspace, we also noticed water still in the crawlspace that the customer said she would address after we were done, that was not listed for us extract or clean up.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: This response is not appropriate. They did not do their job; they did not clean the crawlspace. Its filthy. I sent pictures of how filthy he left it; he never vacuumed it. If I need to, I will contact an attorney, as this man has ripped off several people and is ripping off me for $1800. He did not do the job. I never had a water issue. He told me I had mold. I just wanted the crawl space vacuumed and mold remediation. His response was inappropriate.

We went the extra length for this customer even provided ******************** outside the scope we gave a discounted price as well and weeks later the customer had a problem with it. Date of transaction: 3/7/2024. ******************* Owner and Operator Of "Global Restoration Services" and /or "******** Emergency Home Services" ************************************************************* **************. *** was hired to remove mold in my home and garage attic on 3/7/2024 for $1980.00.. *** said the work was completed when he left my home. Even showed me a short video of a segment of the roof, which he said was a "before and after" shot. My husband went into the attic the next day to check on the work and found *** only completed half the work. There is still mold at the end of attic, and on the opposite side of the wood beams. Essentially if you look in the attic from the opening, it looks great. But, when you look from the opposite side, none of the work is completed. We notified *** of this finding, he was agreeable to come back to the house and finish the work. He never showed or returned our phone called. Additionally, I paid ******************* with a personal check in the amount of $1980.00. He later called me and said " I can't cash your check, the bank put a stamp on it SNF." He requested that I use Zelle to send him the money, which I did. Four Days later, *** cashed my check for $1980. I have now paid twice as much money for work that was never completed by the owner of Global Restorations Services that won't call by back. Absolutely incorrect , not only did we service the garage for free but treated every area accessible and states in the warranty excluding areas of inaccessibility but also was paid by a check that was not valid and was returned, when notified the customer the check was no good she then zelled us which was pending for 3 days and returned as well. so in closing we treated extra areas for the customer and still have not been paidInitial Complaint

Company originally came out on 10/8/2020 to perform mold remediation. Payment was made for $985 and a 25 year warranty was issued.A contractor mentioned to us that there seemed to be mold in our attic, and I contacted *******************. He initially told me that it was probably just marks left over from previous mold.On January 15th ****, I sent him pictures of possible mold return, and *** responded that, in accordance with the 25 year warranty, he would come back out to take a look at the mold because it appeared from the pictures that there might still be mold roots intact in the attic that were not properly remediated originally in 2020. It took multiple follow-*** to get him to respond to me. When he finally set an appointment for Monday January 22nd ****, I made special arrangements to be at my home to ensure that I was there for *** to perform the follow-up mold remediation. *** never showed up to the appointment, and he never called to let me know he could not come.After multiple attempts to contact ***, he finally responded that he had an emergency flooding situation to take care of, and where he was had poor reception. He apologized and asked when would be another good time for him to come out and take a look at it. I responded that almost any time that week would be fine, and I received no follow-up response or appointment. His last message to me was on January 22nd ****, and I have not heard from him since after two follow-up text messages, a voicemail, and multiple attempts to call him since then (as of today, January 30th ****) he has not responded or made an attempt to set up an appointment in over a week (8 days).I'd like him to come back out and finish the mold remediation or provide a full refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:This is a lie. I never canceled any appointment to come out.
Additionally, there was no "spot treatment" the first time. He was called to treat mold in the attic. He came to treat it, and he gave me a warranty on the work. He could never even know that he'd have to treat "the whole attic" now because he never came back out to look at it. In fact, there was not mold found in the "whole" attic anyway.
There were some close-up images sent to try to confirm if the mold had returned as was suspected. On a phone call, he said he did think that it returned, and he agreed to come out and treat it.
He never showed up to the agreed upon appointment. As seen from the attached images, he claimed he was inundated with a flood call and asked when he could come back out. After I responded to him, he stopped all responses and contact with me (as seen in images). I never heard from him again after the messages, which are seen in the images, multiple phone calls and voicemail.

I am rejecting this response because:If that were true, and ****** could even tell from the pictures sent, then why would he have agreed to come out a second time, and why didn't he mention or ask about moisture in the attic in the first place.
His first excuse in his initially BBB response is that he "spot treated" and was asked to come back to do the "whole" attic (not true), and now the story is changing, and the reason is supposed moisture in the attic that the claims to have seen in the pictures sent to him (not true).
I've attached the picture originally sent to ******, which he never claimed showed evidence of moisture or lack of structure care until now.
Moreover, none of this would explained why ****** agreed to come out original and then became unresponsive with no explanation. He never originally gave any of these reason as a refusal to come out, instead he agreed to come out and then ghosted me.
Now he is trying to generate excuses to justify his behavior. Even if either of his responses were true, and they are not, none of this justifies agreeing to something and then ghosting a customer without explanation.

Hired this business to remove mold from my attic and repair a bathroom exhaust fan in attic for $1500. The company performed the work on May 11th, and I paid $1500. They broke a ceiling light from the attic while working and scheduled to come back and fix it. They never showed up. Contacted them to reschedule and they again did not show up. When I went into the attic, I noticed they only removed 75% of the attic mold. 25% of the attic roof wood was still black with mold. Also, the bathroom exhaust fan in the attic was not repaired. They did not respond to my attempts to contact them. When I posted my ****** and yelp reviews of this company not completing their work, I noticed that others have had similar issues with this business.Business Response

He didnt remove mold from 25% of my whole attic and didnt not repair the exhaust vent stated in his quote and didnt show for 2 schedule appointments to fix a light he broke. Why would I let a business run like this back on my property? He has several other complaints on not finishing work. I will only accept a refund at this point.

In the process of purchasing a home December 2022 mold was discovered upon inspection. The home owners employed this company that promised complete mold mitigation with a 25 year warranty. Two months after we moved in and discovered the mold had returned and contacted ***. He acted suspicious and only had an original estimate that he gave to the previous owner. Once I provided him with the warrantee information he reluctantly came out and used a "highly concentrated bleach" and stated that this would resolve the issue. 9+ months later the mold returned in the attic. I repeatedly tried to contact ***. After 9+ calls he responded and asked me to send pictures which I promptly sent. Since then, he has blocked my calls. I even called him from another number and when he answered I identified myself and he immediately hung up. I've left almost 3 dozen voicemails for him with no response. The cost to the seller was $1,350.00 and we have no idea what it will actually cost us to have the mold mitigatedBusiness Response

****** returned to my home only one time in February 2022 to mitigate the returning mold. Since we have owned this house he has only been here one time. He may be referring to the previous owners when starting the he has been to the home three times. Why has the mold returned for a second time if the mitigation was done correctly. Attached are some of the pictures I sent to ****** in November 2021 showing him that the mold had returned.
