    Purchased a GE dryer a year ago. Just a last week it stopped working; it wont start/turn on. Call the manufacturer company, they reached out to a third party service company that goes by the name of Meridian ****************** The appt was scheduled for 7/5/24 between 8am-12pm, and was told they should be reaching out to me that day. July 5 came I ended up calling to confirm my appt because I havent heard nothing from them that entire morning. The guy answered said he couldnt make it because they were booked and he didnt understand why GE would schedule me the day after a holiday, so he said Monday morning 7/8/24 I will come between the same time as scheduled. Today is Wednesday July 10th this man has not showed up. *** even reached out to him on Tuesday as well and he said the same thing oh Im booked. Now its to the point he is not responding to my text or phone calls he is sending me straight to VM. Very unprofessional and his business practices are truly unethical. Its just sad honestly. black business have to do better, it literally be your own people but want everyone to support you. I would never treat a customer or client in any way such that does not deserve to be treated badly or wrongfully. I just want my dryer fixed!!!

    First Contacted - Wednesday February 7th: Asked about refrigerator, deposit/home visit of $100 (cash), planned appointment for Friday February 9 Friday February 9 - business owner visited home, assessed refrigerator, gave opinion, gave a rough estimate of price of job ($600-$700), said they needed to check their shop first. Problem with refrigerator was a broken compressor. Later in evening let is know when they are available and total price ($632). Told business owner we need to think about the decision. Sunday Feb 11 - contacted business owner, said we wanted to move forward with repair. Scheduled repair for Tuesday morning. Tuesday Feb 13 - business owner arrived for repair. Replaced compressor. Said to leave fridge for 24 hours and it will slowly cool down. Thursday feb 15 - notified business owner that the fridge had not cooled down, asked to come and check It out. Said they will come the next morning Friday Feb 16 - came to look refrigerator again. Said to leave it for the day and it should start working. Contacted business owner later that evening saying that it was still not working. Said he will come again Monday and that if its not cooling its a contaminated system. Monday Feb 19 - business owner did not arrive. Asked them it theyre available the next day. They said yes. Asked what time. No response. Tuesday Feb 20th - Messaged business owner asking what time they will be coming by, they said 2-3 PM. They did not come. Messaged them asking. Wednesday Feb 21 - Messaged business owner saying Hello, if you are not able you to fix it I would appreciate if you would let us know. We have gone almost two weeks without a fridge and we need it fixed as soon as possible. No reply Thursday February 22 - Messaged business owner saying Hi if youre not able to come today, then I am going to have to ask for a refund. Please let me know. no reply Friday Feb 23 - called business owner at 814 AM, no answer
