    Bought a car in March of this year 10 days later the engine goes out. This car has been in the shop more than I have been able to use the service. Still having problems and they will not fix the issue. ******** customer service and they have worst cars on the lot. They will not get another referral or my business again.

    I bought a 2016 ***** Equinox on New Years Eve of 2021. Had a 720 credit score when i got it. After a few recalls i was still confident it was a good buy until this past Tuesday. First 10 below morning, car had been burning oil for a while , getting oil changed every TWO months, the whole engine just clunked out and died. 3500- 6000 for repairs. I owe $12000 still on the car. Now my credit is low and Im facing repossession because I cant afford the repairs AND the payment. Its only been two years. I have no car and work 20 miles from home. Im devastated and hurt as a 51 year old single woman with NO options

    I went to ********** to find a good vehicle after driving a car that was giving me many mechanical issues. They sold me a 2016 **** Explorer late December 2022. The selling price was a bit over $18,000 with ******* miles on it. I requested the CarFax report, and it all looked great, just a couple recalls fixed and some maintenance. I ran the car for a couple days when I started noticing it running heavy, I requested the Carfax report again just to have a piece of mind. In February 2023 I scheduled a service with Hawk because the vents on the dashboard and the feet were not working and a tire sensor was damaged. They fixed the vents, not the tire sensor. I took it to a tire shop where I paid $87 to fix the sensor. In May 2023, my engine light came on. What we thought it was going to be a $50 fix turned out to be a $2,000 bill. This was not taken care of by ****, this came out of my pocket. 2 days after giving my 5th loan payment. Those $2,000 covered the evaporative emission vent, the purge valved was replaced, and a wheel hub assembly. Along with that fee was the engine/powertrain checked. That same Master Technician raised the truck to show me all the problems under the truck. The transmission and motor are PAINTED, there's sand mixed with oil and transmission hoses are lose. In June, I spoke to the general manager, and in short words he said he sold me a good car, that even the windshield wipers were replaced. He said that my mechanic might be just trying to get money out of me, so I took it to his mechanics where they replaced the motor mounts, there goes another $600. Today, I almost got in a car accident because as I'm driving this vehicle, the wheel locked, and I wasn't able to turn. Missed a day of work because I had no transportation, both my first and second shift jobs. I am barely giving my 6th payment, spent my money that I saved for school in this vehicle. I spoke to the ** again today; I was asked to bring it in for a trade. Don't EVER shop at HAWK.

    My car have been in the shop since i purchased it. The day I purchased the car they set an appointment to fix the problems with my radio and other stuff. I received a call and was told that its other things wrong with the car and its going on a month not and the vehicle still in the shop. I call the dealership to get answers because I have not been called since a day after I dropped it off and was told that parts are on back order. I asked them to change my vehicle out and they told me no.
