Don't walk away, RUN!!!! These people offer an average (at best) product at outlandish prices. I should have known better when they used a substantial discount incentive (only good for that day) to sign the contract at the first sales appointment. Workmanship is shoddy with nothing but corner cutting installation methods. We ended up with a leak, that ruined our lower level ceiling, below the installed shower. ** tried to tell us it was our bad pipes and they weren't at fault. We had to hire a plumber to provide proof of an improper connection. Instead of removing the entire panel, they just cut a hole large enough to repair the connection and then placed a new panel over the one they cut into, leaving a noticeable variance at the base pan between the front, side, and rear panels. The first ********* cut into the drywall leaving a gap between the shower and wall that ** still has not returned to correct almost two months later. They have missed multiple appointments to fix the issues and are pressuring us to sign off on the project that has yet to be completed. I'm now kicking myself for not having them tear the entire shower out after the initial install and just walking away from our $5000 deposit, so we could go with someone else. Did ** try to make things right? Yes, they did try, but they failed miserably. I will say that our kitchen looks stunning with the new ceiling (done by a contractor we had to find and hire.) I cant say the same about our new shower, which we have still not used in 8 weeks. So much for a one day install! I don't put any faith in their ** Guarantee; We are committed to providing the best products, service, and overall bathroom remodeling experience.Bath Planet

I had a great experience with Bath Planet. ****** was great. I had so many questions, given this was my first time getting my bathroom remodeled, and he knew all the answers to my questions! My bathroom has been installed, its beautiful and I love it! I recommended them to all my friends and family. I am very pleased! Great work!Bath Planet

Poor installation and worse post-install support. First tech showed up and determined he couldn't do the job, so it'll have to be rescheduled. After waiting several days and not hearing anything from Bath Planet, I called them to reschedule. This is after the salesman took many pictures and detailed measurements of my old tub/shower. Two techs showed up at 9:30 and took an hour lunch, so I knew my "installation in one day" would not happen. They told me they'd be back at 9:30 the next day until I reminded them it was the Friday before a holiday weekend and their long weekend would get started the earlier they started the next day. YEAR ONE COMPLAINT -- water flow down significantly. Called and was told, "Oh, you'll have to fix that yourself" by an office staff member. I did. YEAR TWO COMPLAINT -- seams separating. After 3 weeks and several phone calls to their rude office staff, the seams were re-caulked. YEAR THREE COMPLAINT -- seams separating at different points than last year's splits. Service/installation manager said he'd send me some caulk and I could repair the seams myself.Bath Planet

Salesperson was very nice at first but quickly tried the hard sale tactics then quickly tried the scare game them moved to trying to guilt us. Price dropped several times but he was unable to give a itemized estimate by email. "Couldn't get it to work" told be to take a picture of it,only thing on screen was prices and payment amounts. Which means he wasn't working on anything . SCAM!!!! I then contacted company for estimate since then I am getting 6 to 1o 10 calls daily. They gave tried several ways to get our money including reduced rates for overstock items, different discount programs but I must decide right now. We have since found out many lies ie w-2 construction workers,only A,+ BBB company,and only Better Homes and Garden sponsored companies.Bottom line is they won't stop calling!! I really hate being lied to.Bath Planet

PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company! I wish I never called them, let them in the house. ***** showed up on time and was very nice, he asked the reason for the remodel. I informed him I have 2 people with disabilities in the home, one suffers from Dementia the other a **************, I wanted to make the bathroom safe, replace tub with a stand-up shower. Once he learned the situation the scare tactics started. You have black mold all over the walls, its very dangerous. I used to work on construction, spot on the floor indicates the tub is sinking, went into basement, confirmed tub sinking, cant believe it hasn't already come through the floor! Nothing he told us, showed us, was done except tub removal, floor replaced. Sample wall shown, custom made at factory, product not as sample and they consider custom made cutting the pieces in the street at your home. All new plumbing, received partial, old walls torn down, replaced with green board not provided. One hour appointment turned into almost 3 hours, all the while reminding me of the severe situation in the bathroom, which kept me under constant anxiety, distress, scared. I ended up signing a contract for $24,000, under deception of black mold & expensive to remove, and 90% of the product/work the salesman said would be provided but were not, total deceit. Everything with this company is geared to their advantage. ***** said nothing about the contract giving the company the discretion of the product/work to be done, can override what he writes, company can cut corners if they choose, unfortunately not until after you've already signed. They give you 3 days to cancel the contract, which is not enough time to even find a lawyer, have them go through it and advise you. You can only call them, hard to get them to call you back, no email or text messaging, so no paper trail. I put $6,000 down offered another $4,000 to resolve issue, flatly told no. Stay away from this company!!Bath Planet

Scam. We had the *** come to our home. He spent about two hours explaining their process. When it came to the price reveal the *** wrote something on his notepad very small so we could not read. He then asked what we thought it would cost. This was for a basic shower only. Nothing fancy. He then told us it would cost $24,000. He then proceeded to give us discounts and it went to $18,000. He then asked us what we thought it would cost and dropped it to $13,000..IF we signed that day only. We told him we wanted to think about it and asked for a copy of the estimate. He said he didn't have one but would type it up when he got back to the office. We never did get a written estimate even though we called the office and asked multiple times.Bath Planet

The most disrespectful, rudest sales rep **** ever met! We had a 6pm appointment, he arrived at 4:30pm, no communication beforehand to check if it would be ok. No problem, as both my husband and I were home. We are only having our shower updated (36x36), I repeat, just the shower. After measuring and showing us some pics, he quoted $24K. - to update a small 36x36 shower! We said, no thanks, no need to continue with the appointment. He started getting defensive, and trying to justify the price. He then said, "$12k , that's 50% off" . We again, said no thank you. He grabbed his stuff, muttering and trying to justify the price. As he walked out the door, he said "Next time don't waste people's time if you can't afford it". I chose not to reply. Trust, I'm only leaving a one star rating because I can't submit my review without a rating.Bath Planet

Fraudulent company! Been sitting on my $2100 since Nov 27th. It's the 17th of Dec 2024 now and still waiting while they give more lies the more I call and inquire. Rude woman who answers the phones (******, in the IL office.. wouldn't connect me to upper management very rudely. There's probably bad management if this ****** woman acts like she owns the business and rudely would transfer you to ppl who won't help .. they were fast to take my money, but dragging their feet and every time I call it's a new lie! How can such cons have a business like that and do this to ppl, this should be illegal with legal consequences!! A very bad company to deal with. Sub zero stars and reporting it!Bath Planet
