On December 18, 2023, at approximately 9:00am, I took my 2019 ****** Crosstrek to have its oil changed at ************, ********************************************************. Approximately two hours after the oil change, I started to experience transmission issues. The car only has 47k miles and has not had any previous issues. Since I was close to the ************* dealership in **********, I drove there. I barely made it into their parking lot. They looked at the car the next day and had to push it into the repair shop since it is no longer drivable. The mechanics discovered that the transmission fluid had been drained, and only one quart left in the transmission. The engine oil was double the amount it should have been. As evidence the shop took a picture of the engine oil dipstick revealing the excess oil in the engine, and a three minute video showing the draining of the transmission fluid which had only one quart of fluid and should have had five. This is proof that ************ drained the transmission and double filled the oil which resulted in the destruction of our car's transmission. It will be approx. $11,000 for us to pay for a repair that was not our fault. I returned to ************ and was told by the owner, ***************************, that it was not his problem. That we could not prove it and that he thinks all car dealerships are crooked. He refuses to take responsibility. His company has destroyed our car, and we are seeking payment for the repair to be done by ******. We are hoping you can help us with the steps that need to be taken. We greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!
