I live in the other state, it is impossible for me to attend meetings, Hillcrest is taking advantage of ******* Nov 2020, there was leak from the bath above. Tenants there speak Spanish. Hillcrest opened the ceiling, found nothing, let it stay. After several requests the ceiling was fixed. On Oct 2, 2021 leak at the same area. I filed claim with business *****. but they denied it: the ************* is primary for the dwelling units that have suffered damaged from a covered insurance claim. Per claim adjuster, this claim must be directed to them and their insurance carrier for handling. By-laws of our *** state that no homeowner can sue any other homeowner. All should be governed by the *** itself.Nov 30, 2021 it was finally fixed. Sep 3 and 6, 2022 same leak; severe leak on Oct 20, 2022. They love grabbing your money, but they abhor having to earn it.

I see so many negative reviews about Hillcrest but I personally don't understand it. I'm extremely impressed by the Halloween-theming they've promoted during this fall season. In the spirit of trick-or-treating, they're selecting random residents to ding with $125 charges or absolutely no reason. It's great fun! Good trick, Hillcrest! You got me!!! Hopefully we'll get a treat next year (I doubt it)

Hillcrests property manager ************************* does not return phone calls. When I needed to speak to him regarding my windows remodeling, he didnt respond to countless phone calls and emails.Hillcrest claims that they didnt receive my proof of insurance that I mailed via certified mail. (I do have the receipt). I paid 25$ noncompliance fee wrongfully assessed. One board member said I should email property manager ************************* my receipt and the board would retroactively not assess a fee. I did mail it, got a call from him ( prompted by my conversation with the condo association president). ***** said he was going to speak to the **** Never heard from him again. I have since followed up with mails and calls. During the entire time our BOD hasnt held a meeting

Do NOT use Hillcrest Property Management. Any concerns of yours are completely ignored. Multiple phone calls, emails go unreturned. Imagine there is a small room with a desk, phone and computer which remains empty every day, that's who is managing YOUR property. Heaven forbid you have a urgent matter which needs immediate attention, good luck finding someone. And *************************, if you can get him to return a call, is rude, arrogant, and acts annoyed that YOU are bothering HIM despite the fact that YOU are paying THEM to help manage the property. He should be fired and never have another customer service job ever again in his life. Stay away from Hillcrest!!!

Hillcrest management is horrendous. They double charged my assessments for four months and after weeks of calling to obtain a refund no one has called back or even responded to the numerous emails and phone calls. Their blatant disregard for the consumer is unethical and they should be charged for their financial mishandlings.

Recently helped my aunt transition from ******************** It was difficult to contact anyone directly. Most communication is by leaving voice mail messages or email and then following up in order to receive a response. The largest disappointment is not receiving the $300 moving damage deposit. After confirmation there wasn't any damage were told the deposit would be refunded in a month. It has been four months and numerous follow up calls. I assume, Hillcrest Property Management is either incompetent at managing the books or consciously not returning deposits to residents who move out.

I am VERY disappointed with the level of service provided by HillCrest Property Management. I have been a resident in one of their managed properties for five years and during that time, I have experienced numerous issues them. Despite my efforts to address one of a pestering problem with over 50 emails and 10 phone calls, as well as escalating the matter to their department leaders and a supposed executive VP (who is another useless individual, racially discriminating, arrogant in addition to ignorant) the issue was never resolved. Furthermore, the company recently switched to a new portal which added to its shameful cringeworthy service. In addition to these issues, I am concerned about the apparent lack of transparency in their business practices. I have heard complaints from board members who claim that HillCrest is not responsive to their needs and that they have considered switching to another vendor(since 4 years). However, the company continues to maintain their relationship with the board, leading me to question whether there is some form of bribery or unethical conduct taking place. My concerns were further amplified when one of their property managers requested a service costing over $50,000, yet only recommended the lowest bid that was under by a few $100, which just so happened to be a company that the property manager previously worked with. It was only after investigating that I found out this bid was from a his friend's company and only submitted after the bid with the lowest quote was submitted.Overall, I strongly advise against purchasing a property managed by HillCrest Property Management. I hope that they address these issues and improve their business practices soon.

It is almost impossible to reach a responsible person to respond to concerns. I have been trying to reach our HOA account manager for almost 10 months now to resolve an issue. After trying multiple emails addresses and calling their office, someone finally picked up that works in their condo division (I live in single family homes) and asked me to send an email to a support address. I have completed that, 2 weeks ago and I have not received a response. It's a complete atrocity that they are taking fees from HOA but unavailable to support.
