    Our home had damage from the Derecho that hit ************, ** on Aug. 10, 2020. On September 9th, 2020 we met with ***************************, Field Contractor, from Axis Contracting at our office in ************. He said he was from ************, it wasn't until later we found out he's from ********. Anyhow, we hired Axis to do our roof and siding replacements. Our insurance paid for our roof and covered part of the siding. We paid the rest out of pocket. We signed a contract that we owed in total $23,107.03 for our roof and siding. We paid a $700 deposit on Sept. 11, 2020 and signed the contract that day. Our roof was done in October, 2020 and we paid $12,000. Our siding arrived in January ************************* early March 2021. **** said we owed $10,458.00 and we paid that. We were good and paid our contract in full and actually more than what we were quoted. August 2021, we get a call from our insurance agent asking questions and saying Axis wanted more money, but they were denying most of it as they had already paid it once. Then, Feb. 22, 2022, I get a call from *************************** saying "we owe money". No amount. I emailed him back and said we already paid more than our contract stated and we wouldn't pay anymore. Today, August 16th, I get a letter from their legal team saying we owe $14,084.85 and to pay by August 17th, 2022. The letter was dated August 10th, 2022 and it included an invoice from May, 2021 that we never received. We will NOT be paying any more and want the company to cease contacting us. We paid what the contract stated. If there was an error, it was on their side, we paid more than what was signed and we are done. No one told me at any point about any additional costs, so this cost is on Axis. I wish others would be aware of them as we are hearing others in ************, that are now dealing with the same shady practice.

    I am rejecting this response because: We did not breach any contract and I will show the contract that was signed by their employee, *************************** and myself. We have denied anything from our insurance and in fact the company reached out to our their contact person and after multiple times reaching out to them, my agent had to ask for their information to talk to another person directly. In addition the company says they sent us an invoice in May 2021 and we never received that. I got 1 call in Feb. 2022 that says we owe money and he never responded to my email. So we will NOT pay anything else. We satisfied the contract that was signed.

    The contract was breached.  My attorney responded and this will be resolved in court.  Filing consistent complaints on social media platforms in attempts to harm my business will not help you when you lose in court and I will be sure to post the verdict to every site as well so everyone understands that you are just another person that didn't pay your bill.  Thanks
