      Heartland women's healthcare should be ashamed of themselves. I called in for a renewal on a prescription and missed my video appointment by five minutes ( my phone had issues connecting to their portal ) I was left in the online waiting room for over an hour with a prompt that someone would be with me shortly. I called the office for more information and was told that since I was late, my appointment would no longer be honored. I apologized and attempted to explain that I was experiencing connectivity issues but I was rudely cut off by the lady on the phone who told me that I would have to make another appointment in office. I attempted to explain that I had been exposed to Covid and wouldn't be able to come in the office, for risk of possibly impacting others. Once again, I was cut off and not allowed to provide further explanation. I disconnected the call at this point, thanking them for their time, and called another number to request a transfer to the corporate office for assistance. I was, once again, treated very rudely and told that I needed to provide an explanation in order to be transferred to which I replied it was a personal matter. I was then told that if I was unable to provide an exact reason for my transfer request that I would be disconnected. I, once again, stated that it was a personal matter regarding a scheduling issue. I was then hung up on. This behaviour is absolutely pathetic and extremely inappropriate on so many levels. It's inexcusable for a consumer to be treated in such a flippant and disrespectful way. I will be seeking personal care elsewhere immediately and also referring my friends elsewhere. Pitiful excuse for customer service !!!
