    Purchased a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy from the Matteson, ** location w/ the expectation that they would uphold the promises made during the sale. Specifically, I was assured of complimentary oil changes for the next three years and a spa treatment for the vehicle. However, my first encounter with their service department was appalling. After leaving my car for the spa treatment, I received notification that it was ready for pickup, only to find it untouched - not even vacuumed nor washed. When I raised this issue with ***** and showed her evidence of the neglected interior, she scolded the service manager in front of me. This unprofessional behavior was unacceptable, and despite my request for a call back, nothing was heard from them On another occasion, I was contacted by the dealership regarding an oil change due for my car. Yet, when I arrived for the appointment, I was informed it would cost $75. This discrepancy infuriated me. According to the manager and the sales associate, in ********, oil changes are only free every other "due date" because it's not recommended to follow the manufacturer's schedule. This explanation was preposterous and completely unacceptable.I left before my frustration boiled over into unprofessional behavior towards those who had initially welcomed me warmly. After speaking with ***************** who acknowledged the failure to communicate the terms of the free oil changes upfront, I declined further calls from the guest service manager, as no meaningful resolution seemed forthcoming, only excuses.What baffles me is why a dealership would deviate from the manufacturer's recommended care for a vehicle and make promises they knew they couldn't keep. Was it solely for the sake of making a sale? It's disheartening to witness such a decline in integrity, potentially deterring future customers.Is this the sales approach that Hyundai teaches their sales associates? Are they provided with training centered around standards and integrity?

    As a longtime customer of ********************** I have never been disappointed. The service is always great and the staff is outstanding! ** and ***** were a prime example of professionalism. This is why I always return.

    I have been trying to reach the general manager. I have had numerous problems with getting my car serviced. The staff in the service department is unresponsive and rude. I had my car towed in on Jan 10 two days and no one called me with an update. When I tried to call the person on the phone was rude. I came in obviously upset and the service manager said she would ensure my car was repaired. Never heard from her again. Received a call on Jan 13 said car was ready. Got in it and the tire pressure light was on. They took it back put air in the tires. I drove it a few days later only to find my horn still does not work and the back break light is still out. Talked to **** she told me to bring it in yesterday morning. Brought it in and was basically ignored by the lady working in service. She walked away from the desk in went in staff office. The other man was training someone and ignored I was there. I got out my car and then was told to sit and wait. I did and after awhile he came and gave me papers to sign. That was 9 am yesterday and I have no update on my car. Called asked for general manager and got ****. She said to call her after 1 if I had not heard anything. Called her around 4 and no answer left message but no return call. Called today and asked to speak with the general manager. Got **** on the phone again. She claimed she didnt get my call yesterday. Then said my car was on the rack. She said she told service to give her an update right way and she would call me back. She never called me back. I just called her and she said service is closed and they should have called me, I am beyond frustrated and really need to speak with the general manager. Every time I ask for the general manager they say shes not there. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM WORLD HYUNDAI IN MATTESON, IL . YOU WILL REGRET IT!

    How is it possible for them to replace an engine in my sister in law vehicle in 3 days as opposed to replacing my engine in 2 and half months. I dont think they replaced her engine. Also World Hyundai went back on their word saying they would cover all rental costs for having my vehicle for that period of time. Now Im unable to rent a vehicle from Enterprise because World Hyundai went back on their word and stuck me with a $600 plus car rental bill. Now my sister-in-laws vehicle is inoperable. I just hope world Hyundai is not getting over on my sister-in-law in replacing her vehicle engine plus out of all of the vehicles on there a lot, they could not supply her with a loaner vehicle. Someone needs to look into world Hyundai service of Matteson ********

    Just go a **** Tucson. LJ, ***********, was ABSOLUTELY THE GREATEST. He was very informative of and patient with the process and in operating my new "SPACESHIP", LOL. I highly recommend LJ and World Hyundai Matteson.
