      Kept me waiting basically all day (6hrs) for a Fidium fiber internet install that never happened. Tech texted at 8am for a 1pm appt. He says hey an I come now? I never got text until 10am as I work the late shift. I say sure, he says can't come got 4 more jobs I will be there at 1pm. 2pm comes Fidium calls says tech is running late. 630pm comes Fidium calls again tech can't make it his car broke down, sorry for the inconvenience. We can reschedule...I say don't bother. If this is how it goes just trying to get it installed I say never mind. Stick with Spectrum and save yourself ALOT of aggravation!

      Im beyond frustrated. My internet drops at least 10 times a day, making it nearly impossible to work from home. Ive called support over 10 times in 3 weeks, had 8 technicians visitand nothing is fixed. Every time I escalate, Im told Well send a technician. They show up, say its fixed, and 30 minutes later, its down again. Ive wasted hours on calls, taken time off work, and still have no answers. This is unacceptable. I would never recommend this provider. Avoid them unless you want nonstop issues and zero real help.

      Terrible company. Was on phone call/ hold for over an hour to cancel my Dads residential phone service. After a month the service was still not canceled and they continued to draft payment for another full month. Resolution required two additional phone calls that each took almost an hour before the service was confirmed to be canceled and account closed.

      Had a sales person [*******] from 'fidium' come to the house, explain services, benefits etc this past weekend. This person asked for my contact information, phone number and email address, to send me literature via email and a screenshot of the information he collected along with his cell information while I did my own research. Fast forward 3 days, a confirmation email and text from Consolidated Communications pops up while I'm at work asking to confirm my installation appointment [fidium is their fiber optic internet service] that i never made with a list of recurring fees. Obviously I immediately cancel via text and then call them to ask what happened. **************** *** was great and fully cooperative in confirming the cancelation however wasn't giving me a definitive answer as to what could have happened until I suggested that perhaps this sales person was trying to pad his numbers by signing me up for the install without my consent. She then mentioned that it looks like that is exactly what might have happened, apologized and is supposedly escalating to a supervisor. Shouldn't ever have happened in the first place. Signing 'customers' up for paid ******************** without their consent. Terrible ethics.

      This company needs to be shut down. I have never been so disgusted with a compmay as I am with this one. I have been at this with them for a week and a half and I have continued to get the runaround and nobody will talk with me about the situation because they don't want to Buck ** and have to pay me for their mess up. And now that I have read many of these other reviews, it sounds like a lot of people have the same problem with this company and I'm wondering why they are still in business.I called them because my internet kept dropping and they sent a guy out but he told me that they don't service my apartment building anymore. That my building was with another company. I said I had no nothing about that so what does he do? He goes into the maintenance room and I find out from the other company that he spliced in a line back over to Consolidated Communications from the other company that I was hooked up with but didn't know. Did he tell me he did this? No he did not.I have been paying consolidated for nearly 2 years without getting service from them. Now no one will rectify this BIG issue! I have also asked them multiple times to cancel my account and they have not. *****, the manager who spoke to me for a short moment only 1 day, gave me opposite information than what I had received from the company that I was actually getting service from. They have not shown me any logs to show I had service through them because there aren't any! This place needs to be shutdown ****. I have spent hours upon hours on hold waiting and waiting and waiting for anyone to help, yet when you eventually get through, no one can actually help you. I'm utterly disgusted and how anyone can work for this company is beyond me.

      I haven't had an account with fidium/****************** since 2024, but every month, on a different date, I receive a text and an email saying my payment is do in two days. Every month I call customer service. It typically takes 1 1/2-2 hours before somebody tells the issue is resolved. on 4/17/25 I spent three hours, over at least 40 phone calls. Today, on 4/22/15, I've called fidium and consolidated 18 times in the last hour and twenty minutes. I'm left on hold, hung up on while on hold, rerouted to the beginning of the call menu. Fidium is a nightmare, a scam, a shell game.

      I am currently trying to resolve a billing issue, having cancelled my landline service, and now being charged $30 more a month than before for internet. I have been on hold now trying to resolve for 1 hour. I was told about 15 minutes ago they were in error and still trying to "fix it". I have been a customer for over ten years. This isn't how you treat paying customers.

      I live in central ***** and helping my parents out with way high bills. Consolidated was one if them. I called and talked to ******* and she Was great. She went back over the last three months of their bills and saw how they use the phone and explained different plans to help my parents get this bill down. She was Very nice. Explained everything to me and came up with a great plan. Definitely saving them money. Thank you ******* Lkklkko.. ......

      TRY TO TERMINATE THE SERVICE WITH NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT TO ANSWER MY REQUEST. IT BEEN 2 MONTHS ON TRYING ,MIGHT BRING THEM TO COURT IF PROBLEM IS NO RESOLVED,TIME IS PASSING AND BILL KEEP ADDING, DESPITE AM NOT USING THEIR SERVICE,CAUSE LINE KEEP INTERRUPTED WHEN USED ,PHONE CALL DROPPED.
