      We ordered Fidium Fiber internet service on August 1st. everything had gone fine until they tried to do a forced update Sunday August 29th (so they call it) on their equipment. This update locked up the modem and router and we had to have a tech come out the next day. On Monday the 29th, the tech showed early and was polite and everything got fixed until the 31st when the internet went down again. This time there was no easy fix. We called technical support and was told to unplug and re-plug in the modem to see if that would re-boot things,As of right now (Sept 2nd) we still do not have internet and with my wife working from home, she cannot do her work and may lose her job over their lack of caring and compassion for their customers.This is their mess and cannot clean it up. What happens from here, remains to be seen. We were supposed to have a first thing in the morning appointment but now that is put off until the afternoon.In my opinion, this is poor customer service and just as poor equipment if it cannot handle an update from their own company. Their management/supervisory team could care less what is happening to the customer. This shows in the way they handle customers' compaints

      0 starts for this company.Company staff from this company did not tell us there is charges/fees for me to add my husband's name on the account. OMG, The new account fees is now over $158 just by adding my *****'s name on the account!! The employee did not tell me at that time, we called a supervisor today hoping they can wave the fee, this guy told me there is nothing he can do, really?!Anyway, we will switch to another provider. It's unethical to trap us with this fee without disclosing the fees.

      Internet is down again. They told me "we do not send anyone out the same day. " I was also told "this seems to be a problem on our end. " This company will cost you money. Do not recommend at all.

      I have used Consolidated for decades, first for telephone service, and now for DSL. I have a 6 megabit plan, the highest offered because I live quite rurally. For almost the past month, online speed tests at varying times of the day, with varying active devices on the network report typically in the 0.6 - 2.5 megabit download speed. That is at best 33% of what I am paying for. This is especially egregious since my bill has been continually rising for years, and I am not paying 94$ a month for a 6 megabit plan! My fiancee's parents are paying less than that for 500 megabits through ****** fiber.Over the past month, I have spoke with "tech support" multiple times regarding speed issues and connectivity issues. One evening my DSL dropped 7 times in one hour. Most of the "tech support" are fine at customer service, but truly lack any technical skills. One individual insisted it was my WiFi signal being too weak, even though my desktop is connected to my router with Ethernet. Twice over the past month, technicians have come out. Nothing has been fixed. The first one said everything looked good, and that was the last time we heard from him. The second technician informed us that since the incoming phone line enters the house through the roof, he cannot do anything with it, and that Consolidated is upgrading all their infrastructure right now (switch boxes specifically). That was the last we heard from him. Less than 8 hours after this exchange, my DSL connection dropped, and my speeds are so slow I struggle to watch a ******* video at 480p.Absolutely terrible service all the way around, and I would caution anyone from doing business with this company if you have a choice. I don't as they have a monopoly in my neighborhood.

      Internet was so slow I continuously got bumped out of my calls at work and had to switch back to xfinity to avoid losing my job. I have been trying for over a month to get them to pick up there equipment and they tell me someone will follow up with a date and time and never do. I'm 20 emails deep of their lies and bs. I just want this nightmare to be over with. I wish I never signed up with them!!

      If I could give them less than a one star I would. We went with their Proconnect phone system for our two businesses and it has been nothing but problem after problem. It started with lack of training from the initial installation and took a month for them to get it working. They told us at one location we could tie in with the local system which was not true and now when we call out it shows coming from a different area then what we are in. We have had many little issues over the last few months and their support and response time is the worse I have ever seen. If I was not under a contract with them, we would dump them in an instant. We are looking at a way to get out of the contracts now do to breach of contract on their part. I should have read reviews on them before we went with them. We just did not have a lot of options in our area.

      Been reliable from day 1. Unlimited service compare to xfinity. Service outage during power outage. Switching to Fidium which is CCI 1gig up & down cost less than xfinity 1 gig plan. Guess my service has been super, every vendor from the mighty ***** XFinity which has many complaints. Hope my service continue well with fiber.

      The absolute worst. In vermont
      If your Internet or phone goes down expect days to weeks until fixed.
      Customer service either is clueless or lies outright.
      Tried complaining to VT Utility Commission who closed case without any explanation.
      Would switch but unfortunately only carrier by me.
