False Advertising.They advertise a specific rangefinder on ******** and Instagram with built in magnet for $129.97 but when I ordered it on 11/16/22, it was a less expensive rangefinder, without built in magnet. I didn't find out till after the "checkout" when they tried to upsell me an attachable magnet. I had to immediately call them, when they denied the advertisement, to have my purchase refunded. After a number of emails back and forth with their ************************* Director, *********************, all I got was denial of the advertisement. Now, two days later, the same ad is on ******** and Instagram. Bait and switch!Business Response

We understand your frustration in the situation and we have reached out to them several times as well asking them to fix the information. I am rejecting this response because: If *********** is not owned by My ******************* then *********** is an Affiliate of My Golfing Store **** that is paid for every sale that My Golfing Store **** makes through their website/landing page. It is definitely a responsibility of My Golfing Store, *** to make sure there is no false advertising.

The *********** is not an affiliate of ours either. We have since got in touch with the *********** and they were able to fix the information on there. At this point though you cancelled the order right away and were refunded. The product never shipped. If you would like to call in and place an order then we can work with you but once again this situation was out of our control. I'm sorry this was your experience as this is far out of normal business ***************. In fact in 5 years, we've never had this complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: If you were going to honor the advertised offer that I was going to buy your rangefinder for, then I would reorder it and hopefully be a happy satisfied customer. There are a lot of rangefinders on the market. I have purchased inferior, cheaper products before, that absolutely prove to be inferior. I thought, for the advertised price and features offered, yours was worth trying; however, now that you are not honoring that price, the new price to features, is not as appealing. I guess, if this is your response and how you wish to handle the situation, then I have no choice but to look elsewhere. At this time, I am certainly not someone that would give your company a positive review. Perhaps it's time I step up and buy a higher price, superior brand rangefinder.

This is regarding continued charges from March-November 2021. I purchased a golf strap item online via Instagram For $19.95 and was advised the company via phone after receiving a email regarding the membership option and that I did not want the membership of $49.95 per month as I could get all golf videos online for free.I did not receive any information or receipts to say I was being charged for any of the monthly charges and did not give approval for this at all. i was not aware this was a US company also and that the exchange rate would also factor in this as I could actually get online lessons for this price if I wanted. I advised the company of these charges after doing a tax audit on my account which is when I discovered the charges. The company have no interest in fair trade and doing the right thing as I said that I did not have any receipts emailed to me and did advise them at the start that I did not want monthly charges nor did I give any approvals for this. I was charged for 9 months and then it stopped, I can only assume my credit card ran out of date and a new card was issued. There was no contact made regarding updating my credit card details either. I had asked for any proof and any email receipts sent to my email with no replies towards this or any resolution. The crazy thing about this is that if I paid $99 I would have a lifetime membership however they charged me $49.95 for 9 months totaling $450 US so their business model doesn't even make sense and have no login history to prove I had not used their website at all since my purchase. They need to do the right thing in business and return my money and to do this out of good faith. I was only sent the attached invoice 2 weeks ago and no other invoices.Business Response

All Terms and conditions are explained before purchasing and everything is delivered Via email. We do have all the records of this, including which emails are opened etc. I understand you feel the ball was dropped on our end so we will reach out directly to come up with a solution for you. I am rejecting this response because: There has been nothing done to resolve this issue. showing me the first receipt and then deposits means nothing as i received the first receipt and then nothing after that. There is no evidence by showing the emails with the receipts sent as i did not receive any otherwise i would have cancelled straight away. I spoke on the phone to cancell anything like this to prevent it from happening but they still charged me and did not send receipts on purpose so they could scam me this way which is very unethical. On teir website it says you can have lifetime membership for $99 yet they charged me $50 a month ongoing which does not even make sense as why would anyone continue to pay when there is a $99 offer. I did not subscribe to anything and have no eveidence of any signed documentation for this therfore i should have a refund for taking money from my account without my permission.

You have not been charged by us in 2022 and you're past the ************************************************* our terms and conditions for the site. The $99 for a year promotion was introduced this year and not at the time of your purchase so that is why it wouldn't make sense. My husband ordered an item for $9.95 from mygolfingstore.com in September of 2020 & unbeknownst to him buried in all the free offers presented was a monthly subscription for $49.95. It was free for 2 weeks & if you did not OPT OUT you are charged monthly. He was not even aware that it happened because its literally buried in all the free things that are supposedly included. I never noticed it on the bill because he does buy golfing things but about 2 months ago realized this was a recurring charge & researched further & discovered the ploy. I contacted them and after much arguing managed a five month credit of $249.75 but they had billed a total of 28 months for $1398.60. I am entitled to the balance of $1148.85 for these illegitimate charges. Thank you for your help.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
This company says everything was sent in an email and thats not true. The subscription was hidden in a bunch of free offers and required an OPT OUT in order not to get billed. This amounts to fraud because I never opted in. I am far from the first person having this problem because just on this website there are many other complaints about this and this company thinks they are absolved by saying they sent emails. Nonsense! There is obviously something wrong if all these people are having this problem There is a complaint #******** on 3/21/22 the company agreed to refund all the charges associated with the complaint which were stated as $750 in the original correspondence on 3/7/22. I expect the same.

The customer has been refunded much more than our payment policy. We have all emails on file even showing that they were opened (yes our system does that). We went above and beyond what is required under the terms and conditions as we try to reason with customers as sometimes things are over looked. The membership is not buried in free stuff in fact its listed everyone and one of the itemized items on order forms, receipts, terms and conditions and follow up emails. We have all evidence in our files and can provide if needed. We are willing to work with everyone but it is not our responsibility to monitor your membership. As you can see from my attachments I am not the only person who had this problem and these people had the same issue, the subscription was hidden in all the fine print.
