    This company has taken ******* from me and when I called the same day to cancel the transaction they still ended up pulling the engine out of the vehicle. And while I was fine with a restocking fee at first its been over 3 months and I dont find it appropriate that we will still be charged for their negligence. When I spoke to **** the owner he said he will only refund 1400. And the rest we are supposed to eat due to their error. Then when I told him its unfair he told me then he wont refund anything now.

    The customer Advance Auto ******************** ordered an engine for a ******* accent for the amount of $1957.00. We were working on the engine to have the engine removed from the vehicle. We called him to let know him the engine is ready to be pickup which then he canceled and request a refund. Here at Toncar Auto we have a policy in order to refund the money we need to deducted 25% of our labor that we put on the engine to take out. We don't have any problems to refund the money discounting the 25% restocking fee.

    I ORDERED A PART FROM THEM AS A FELLOW RECYCLER. THEIR WEBSITE CLEARLY STATES 20% RESTOCKING FEE PLUS FREIGHT WITH A 60 DAY PARTS WARRANTY, IF THEIR WEBSITE OR ********** WOULD'VE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT STORE CREDIT ONLY IF SOMETHING HAPPENED I WOULD HAVE NEVER USED THIS PLACE. MY **** LOST THE *** AND NEVER USED THE PART. I CALLED TONCAR 7/31, THE SAME DAY THE **** BROUGHT THE PART BACK. I WAS TOLD NO RETURNS AND ONLY STORE CREDIT WAS THEIR POLICY. NOBODY THERE WAS HELPFUL AT ALL, BASICALLY TOLD IT IS WHAT IT IS. I JUST WANT TO RETURN MY PART LESS THE FREIGHT AND RESTOCK FEE.

    The customer ordered an engine computer, we went through all the paperwork in order for us to send the part to him. A few days later customer called and stated he no longer needed the part which he still has in his possession. He was told in order to receive store credit for the part as company policy, he must return the part and we will establish the credit to his account.

    I am rejecting this response because: They are lying about a third person and being ready to pick up the part when we ordered it, they had the company address they didn't agree to send it to our home to send the part over, they never did. They were trying to negotiate the shipping cost unto me as well. we told them about checking over the part at **** before accepting it, reason= we don't trust them anymore. warranty starts when **** gives the okay. The new class calendar starts 12/12/23 we don't need pictures, we just need the part for inspection at this point.

    They had all the information to send it plus the payment done.

    Good morning, the answer is that the item is ready to pickup since the first day the customer order. The customer sent other person to pickup the item that was different name in the invoice we didn.t give to this person because the buyer need to see the item it's complete. We tried to negotiated with the customer that we offer to send the item by shipping with no cost for him. We can send pictures before to ship to make sure the item is complete. And he will agreed to receive what we are shipping. We are here to help the customer anytime.

    Good morning. The item is ready to pickup at anytime or if he wants we can send the item by shipping with no cost. The item is in good condition and has three months warranty. The reason that we ask for payment before to remove the item it's because apply labor. If he doesn't want the item. He needs to pay the labor that we spent to remove the item.

    Our Terms from the beginning is 

    Part has to be sent at Toncar's expense

    Toncar wanted to send it to a company instead of our home, so we agreed to ***************************

    When part is checked by **** (To confirm the integrity of the part) as soon as the okay is given, the warranty starts

    We have proof that TONCAR failed on the deal and now they are lying about the history of what actually happened that's why we are unwilling to negotiate to their terms

    at this point Take it or leave it.


    Hopefully the BBB understands our position, we are not asking for compensation, we are just asking to be treated right as the customer.
