      This agency issued me license plates in ******** in 2019 it is now 2022. My car has had ******** plates this entire time. The car was in operable for two years due to starter problems . The first mistake made is they did not have me sign the application they sent to the state of ******** for which they are not claiming fault when be the state of ******** has the application from their company. My title is tied up for two years. I went in with a duplicate title and they were going to issue me plates. I told them I already have ******** plates for which they say that is not possible. That's when they argued with me ****** not wanting to listen to me. The secretary of state now needs to become the power of attorney to release my plates plus now they need this company to do another application over again. Since I corrected this company and they were to bull headed to listen now they blocked my number. The secretary of state told me to call the ******** state police and never go to an independent agency again as they make mistakes after mistake. I must now file a complaint so an investigation can be started. What company will not listen to a customer. This is enough to make anyone ticked off . They must fix this issue because they started it. They lied to me right in front of my face. Telling me it would take 24 to 48 hours and I could have my plates and then back down and say they never said that. I want and need this fixed they way it should have been done. I can't even get my stickers to drive my car. I'm working on finding the owner of this company and the secretary of state has moved this up for investigation I. Their license practice.

      This complaint, much like the customer who filed it, doesn't make sense and is not true.  The fact is the customer came in almost 3 years ago to file for a title moving into ** from IA, and we sent her paperwork to the state.  They requested a ***** of ******** so that the state could sign one of the 4 copies of the application, which she was asked to sign and clearly did not.  The state has been holding her paperwork, and my office has attempted to contact her several times in the first 2 years to correct the issue.  She did not respond, and then came in to file for another title on the same vehicle, and was incredibly rude and wouldn't listen to me as I attempted to explain to her that the state had already cashed the checks on the last deal, and so she doesn't have to pay anything more, they just need a signed POA sent over so they can release the title.  The customer appeared to be under the influence of something and was irrational and incoherent, so we took care of it and asked that she take any further business directly to the local DMV in ******.  We can only help customers that will communicate with us when there is an issue, we help hundreds of people a week, so we are bound to run into small issues occasionally.
