I hired them to do a simple job...terminate my child support by presenting documents that I GAVE THEM! I simply couldn't be out of state to do this and wanted it done professionally. BOY, WAS I AN IDIOT! They took $3,000 and did.......NOTHING! Every week I emailed and asked them when the court case would be. They said that "These things take time...the courts are backed up..." Yes, they take 2 months! I had already done this before but wasn't able to get up to ******** to do it in person so it was continued.Four months passed of me asking when my court case was. They had me send them two different financial affidavits. They asked for the other party's address three times. Then they spelled her name wrong. All the while I asked when my court date was. Then yesterday I get an email. Was it to update me on the court date? ****. It was to ask for more money because the $3k was *********** NOT HIRE THEM TO EVEN EMPTY YOUR GARBAGE CAN! They will overcharge you, then leave the garbage strewn throughout your living room! They stole money from a disabled American Gulf War Veteran! I'd tell them good luck in sleeping at night, but I'm sure they sleep just fine. Being on the gold course all day tends to tire one out!Someone start a class action suit! I'll join!

An endless hole for you to throw your money away in to. I was hopeful after the initial consultation. Was told it would be settled quickly and my retainer would most likely cover it. Not a chance. Be very skeptical.

Hi ******, We're sorry to hear your experience with our firm did not exceed your expectations. It's true that we try our best to resolve our client's legal matters efficiently and economically. At times, legal cases can take a turn, and the expected cost or time involved increases. The last thing we want is for your legal matter to go unresolved or for you to feel dissatisfied with the quality of work you received. There are times when we have to go beyond the initial retainer. However, the decision to do so is always made with the client's best interest in mind. We wish everything in law were always as simple as a single flat fee, but unfortunately, that is not how it works, especially if there is an opposing party.

My husband went through them two years ago! one attorney he went through was fired the other one he spoke to told him " I'm not charging you for this call" they did any ways, they are adding more and more interest to money that is supposedly owed, but we had 3 court cases where 2 of them my husband was represented, the others he wasn't. and now today my husband is being yelled and screamed at and harassed by a internal credit service! screaming at him and much more! ********** didn't even do there jobs they are liars and they love harassing people! they are not a good law firm whatsoever.

Im begging them back for my money since they didnt send a demand letter and shared my information to who I was suing. They knew they had no business taking my case. They will rob you blind. Im glad I saw these reviews, I reported them and now this helps my case. I just wanted a demand letter for insurance so that myself and service companions dont get sicker from the mold. Once I told them I tested my home for mold they told me sorry we cant help you. I went over the billing and it said I breached the contract. Which how??? They never did their part. Go to a firm with good reviews and wont burn you.

Oflarety law stole my retainer and told me I couldnt get it back because it was if I was eligible for expungement, which I wasnt at this time. They turned a simple thing into a dran out thing contacting ********** attorney, public defender, judge, and court to figure out how expungement worked. They dont have a physical office and I kept talking to 4 different people. They were incompetent and also thrives. I am now filing a grievance against them to A get my retainer back and B hopefully get there law license taken.

Not only are you fighting a lawsuit but having hired them, am now fighting excessive abusive billing that is depleting life savings. They bill under a half dozen individual initials for ongoing services that you did not request they did not communicate as needed, and they will provide you nothing to prove work billed was done. If you have a question about any blatent errors in billing they forward to oartners that do not respond.

Just as the reviews from others stated, this firm is only after your money and charging you as many billable hours as possible. After two months of them handling my mothers estate, I got rid of them and hired another law firm and is the best thing I could have done. When I asked OFlaherty to refund the balance of my retainer, they told me they used every ***** of $5,000 down to the *****. How is that even possible? Also they pass you around from attorney because the main attorney told me he is too busy with other cases. They attempted to charge me for the third attorney in 2-months, to review the case documents. Not my problem nor should I need to pay for a third attorney to review case documents because he is too busy. Not my problem. This firms cares less about quality work. They only care about billing as many hours as possible and depleting your deposit and all funds that you provided. Takes the attorney 2-weeks and three emails asking for a response before he finally does.Awful law firm, the worst. I bet they were good at one time long ago, but this is a good example of what happens when a small law firm gets too big. Avoid them. Terrible.

I just needed to be named administrator of my fathers estate. After spending over 8k, I finally was named administrator, but was still getting charged many extra unknown charges for emails that either I did not receive or because the email was not clear so they emailed again then called my fiance and then me for which I got charged each time. I had to call the courts to get the actual documents and then I had to file them with the clerks office myself. Now, they just sent another bill for over 200 when I have not done anything with them for over a month. When I called, the office they told me that I would have to email. The first girl said she couldn't talk to me since she felt my raised level of speaking was directly at her, which it was not, so called back and the guy said no one was there that I could talk to. I requested that they send me to voicemail but then he put me on hold and never came back. I just wanted to know why I had received another bill after I just paid them off. Very poor service, I would never recommend them. Please, please, listen, get a lawyer that will work directly with you, not a law firm that keeps passing you around and charging each time, in which case you pay three times what it should have been once.

Before hiring Oflatery law they told me they had attorneysin my location. When I hired flattery law, no one could tell me who my lawyerwas going to be. I must have heard three different names. When I finally was told ********************* was representing me, I wrote him my concerns and what I wanted, I got No response back. The only person who would answer the phone or call back was the paralegal ******. This went on for months. I would call asking about my case and if there was anythingI needed to do. ****** told me we were waiting on a response from the other Attorney. This was not true, in fact there are many emails **** did not respond to fromthe opposing attorney. Later finding out the Attorney repressing me quit thelaw firm. As if that was not enough dishonesty. My case was continuously neglected: I was not told the judge ordered us to do Mediation, I was not told I was supposed to do ********** Avadavat, I should have had a discovery. Not only was this severely neglectful and harmful to my case, but I was also ordered another courtdate because this law firm neglected my entire case and was built for this lawfirm neglecting my case. Finally, after still being billed and no apology I was stillbeing billed for neglecting my case, but no problem saying I owe money, afterpaying *****. The law firm has taken advantage of me and still is billing me,for the neglectfulness they have done. I had no other choice to have OFlaherty law withdraw from my case because when I was giving attorneyfor the second time, they wanted to ask the judge for another continuance. Thismade my case look bad and as though I was the one neglecting my own case. Thislaw firm has ruined my case because they were not prepared and neglectful. Oflawerylaw has caused me more hardships. Ive paid ***** in total, and this Law firm took advantageof me and did nothing yet stole my money making up excuses for billing on whatthey did. Yet had nothing to show for their work.

I feel very taken advantage of by this law firm. I paid them 300 for the initial consult that went well. ********************* said he could help me. He charged me another 780 and said hed write a letter for me. Its been weeks. I have been calling and emailing to ask when I could hear back and no responses at all. I have asked for a refund if this hasnt been started yet- again no responses. I was basically taken for a ride and my money stolen with no help.

******************** is correct, we did drop the ball on this. The attorney on her matter has since reached out and communicated, and I believe it is resolved. If ******************** does not feel the same, we will work to get this addressed.
