I paid Small Cakes Photography to provide photography for my daughter's wedding. I paid the full up front amount of $1795. One month prior to the wedding, my daughter was told this company would finalize the photographer. Their phone number has been disconnected. I had to last minute search for a photographer for the November wedding. I have received NO SERVICES and NO REFUND for this amount that they collected. This business is a complete scam. I am concerned that their website continues to be online and that they might scam others.

I was looking at photographers to book so I looked at the wedding site, The Knot, and found Small Cake Photography and they had really good reviews. So I wrote them on chat and set up a consultation with a man named *******. I know nothing of photography but it seemed like a good deal that I was receiving. It took me a couple of days to think about such a big purchase but on July 21 I booked it for our December wedding. I purchased the gold package in full since it was a better deal to pay up front. This package included 8 hours of photography and videography, drone footage, "free" engagement session and all right to the pictures. I was excited to get the ball rolling so quickly but my excited faded quickly when I couldn't get ahold of someone to schedule our engagement session. Finally they reached out to me and fill in this survey for what day's work best for us. After I filled that out I never received a response. I followed up with them a week later and again, nothing. Then I looked at the site and the price dropped by $400 so I was upset. I texted "*******" and there was no response. I got an email later on that he told this lady to reach out to me and said she can offer an additional 10 hours, I explained that I didn't need 10 hours and just wanted the difference refunded, she said that she will see what she can do. I never received a message. After months of dealing with this, I wrote this "*****" person on their website and told her I would like to cancel and get a refund. She said she will send in the cancellation and refund through Paypal and I gave her my username. I waited about 8 days and opened a new chat to asked her what the status of my refund is and she ignored my messages. I emailed all the emails I had to no avail. *******'s number is now out of order and their "business" line just beeps when you try calling. I paid $2,795 to this "company" and never have received a word or even a message back. BUYERS BEWARE, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!
