I would call another company to fix your Heating/air needs If you have a problem. My A/C quit working a few weeks ago. I did what most people do and bought a new thermostat and put the new one on the wall, well that didnt fix it so My roommate calls Bratcher, they sent a guy out to fix it and its in a crawl space. So the guy goes down there comes back up and says its the control board and I asked him did you check the drip pan to see if its full of water from condensation it could just be that its full and the alarm swith wont let it start. He goes back down there says it not full then says he needs to go to his van and sits on the phone for 15 minutes or so and comes back in and says Im going to check one more thing, he does and come back up and says its the transformer, im thinking ok, then he says he cant get one till monday were going to have to wait till then and he will get one and put it in, So monday comes he puts it in and it works for 2 hours or so and quits again. So we call them back and they send another guy out he goes down there and says I think your fan motors bad cause Im not getting any power to it. doesnt say anything about the new transformer being bad that the other guy just installed a few days before or how ever many days it was, we were without A/C for 9 days and both of us have COPD. Anyways he then said we didnt have any power coming in from the Fuse box going to the A/C and that its wasnt there problem and that I needed to call an electrician. Im like great we just paid these people $243.00 and now I gotta pay an electrician to find a bad connection which is what I did and he goes down there and pulls the light string next to the furnace and it comes on and power is ran to the furnace. So we do have power to the furnace.the guy replaces the transformer and its worked ever since.they refuse to refund our money.they did not fix it my friend did.so Im calling the BBB on these people BEWARE call someone else Not good buisness practices.

John, from Bratcher came to our home a couple days ago to look at a gas furnace that stopped working. He found the gas valve on a 7-year old Bratcher furnace failed. Now, I know Bratcher doesn't make their own furnace, it's really a Lennox product. Why a company would put their name on another company's product is beyond me. Oh well, back to our repair experience. He replaced the gas valve in less than 40 minutes, and repaired the unit. I was charged over $600 for this repair. Come to find out later that the O.E.M. part is only $125 at most supply shops. so, I got charged about $500 to change a $125 part, and it only took about 40 minutes. While I appreciate the furnace is fixed, I just think we got gouged for the service. I just wanted to post this review so others will have another data point when choosing their appliance repair service.

Jeff- Thank you for the time to post your review. As a provider of homeservices, we have to train our employees to know how to properly diagnose problems and them properly repair your system. We work hard to provide superior service at fair prices. It is expensive to have a fully stocked van with full time employees and carry the inventory of parts we need to provide this service. We could not stay in business sell parts at wholesale pricing and not charging for the labor and overhead required to properly run our business. We hope we can provide you excellent service in the future.
