      I loved this company and over the past ***** years we have spent more than 40K on furniture and other misc. household items. It was my "go to" store . Until this most recent experience. We ordered a desk in June, 2022. I was told it was "in stock and ready to deliver". We paid, and waited. I was told I would be contacted to schedule delivery. Nothing. Crickets. I finally called when i got an email that said "call this 800 number to schedule delivery". I called, waited on hold endlessly. Tried again - same. The third time, I got through after a lengthy wait. I was then told that the earliest delivery day was 6 weeks from the date I ordered. Ok, fine. I waited. We got the confirmation call the day before, planned our day to stay home and wait - only to get a last minute phone message stating "the desk never made it on to the truck..." we would need to call and reschedule delivery. Waste of day number 1. I called, spoke to a manager, and was rescheduled for August 15th. I was assured it would be in my home on that day. Planned the day once again, only to get the same phone call on the day of delivery. No desk. I want to cancel, but staying on hold for a half hour is no longer an option for me They have wasted two full days of my time. It's been two months since purchase, they took payment in FULL two months ago. No resolution. I have taken this matter up with my credit card company as that seems to be the only way to reach this company. I will never shop at Crate and Barrel again, sadly. I think everyone would understand if they just said, up front, we do not have it . I will be 6 - 8 weeks. Why do they tell you it is in stock when they seem to know full well it will not be delivered in a timely manner? We are all too busy for this type of thing. I will take my business elsewhere in the future

      I ordered an in stock item on 8/7/22 with an estimated delivery 8/11/22. My credit card was charged immediately and the delivery estimate has been delayed every day and now an estimated delivery of 8/18-8/20. I chatted with a Customer rep and they informed me there was no estimated delivery date. A dishonest company with suspect business practices.

      We had ordered the *********************** and love seat in August 2021 (yes, 2021). We patiently waited for our delivery, realizing supply chain issues, etc were going to delay the projected four month time frame. February 2022, we received our order: TWO DIFFERENT COLORS. We double checked, triple checked our order slip. Correct on the order slip, but some one erred on the production side. One would think a mistake by the company would be handled more diligently and expeditiously, but no: we waited another SIX months for the other half of our order. No "express order" available, no "we are sorry, let's bump you up to the front of the line", no "let's take off the shipping costs since we made an error." Nothing. One year later, we now have our original order. What frustrates me the most is that I would have expected Crate and Barrel to reach out to us in regards to follow up, etc, but not the case, the call for ETA, how can we expedite the process, etc, always came from our end. I am not sure if errors such as this happens consistently with the company, I am tempted to think "yes" considering the lack of outreach. Besides a "we are very sorry for the convenience", no other attempts to reconcile the company's error. Last time I will be ordering custom furniture from the company, which is a shame because the products are good. Reason for three stars instead of two: employees on the other end of the phone were very nice and understanding. Even on a Sunday.

      Ordered the Axis sectional couch Sept. 2021. Was told we will receive it in March 2022. Received email in October 2021 that there is a delay until July 2022. Another email in May 2022, now estimated delivery is early August 2022. I called C&B today, was told should be in a "few" weeks but there were no guarantees. Which pretty much means, I will get another email with another delay. We have already paid for this couch and almost a year later, we still do not have it. I wish their sales people were upfront about the length of delays before selling you the couch. I used to love C&B, not so anymore.In contrast, we ordered another couch from Pottery Barn in Dec. 2021, we received it in April 2022. Much better experience and the couch is very comfy too.

      Purchased an entertainment center April 7, 2022. Delivery has already been delayed 3 times, including calls from their manager apologizing profusely for the last two broken delivery dates. It is supposed to be shipped from ** this week to be delivered on 8/6/22. I will believe it when I see it. Unfortunately, when I call the store where I purchased it, they tell me they cant find it in their goods tracking system, no one returns calls from their shipping center, or that they will get back to me after further research. This broken business model is so frustrating!
