I ordered a blow mold from the website on Oct. 25 and it was supposed to be delivered to my local store by Nov. 2. I never got an email, so I called the store... they have no info. I called the corporate customer service number and all they can tell me is that my item has shipped. They have no tracking info and can't even tell me when it was shipped. They said give it until the 9th and it should be there. Still nothing. I emailed the customer care center. They said they called my local store, but it was after hours so I should call them myself. They gave me no info about where my package is, but said to reach out if I have any questions. I've email twice since then and no one responds. This company has terrible customer service and I still don't know where my package is. Do you think they've put another one on a truck to ship to me? Of course not! However, on their website, they still have them available, but apparently, I just can't have the one I've paid for.Ace Hardware Corporation

I bought two hydraulic screen door closers from ******* ******* store which eventually spewed out oil until they malfunctioned. I tried to return to store under warranty on package but was refused because it had been longer than ********************************************************************************** ***** rather than honoring warranty on package. I have tried to leave a review of product on Ace website which purportedly had verified users giving it a 5 star rating. Why cant they refund me the $50.00 they owe me and not engage in deceptive language on packaging?Ace Hardware Corporation

The worst customer service. They sent me items that got damaged during shipment and basically calling me a liar that the items I received are not damaged. They refuse to give me my money back and will not solve the problem. I have contacted the manager and 4 days later still waiting for a manager to call me back for a resolution. I cant express how good employees are at Ace Summit, in Commerce! I needed a new battery for my remote for car, they took time to show me how to put new battery in! On June 30, 2023 I placed an order online for a chain saw. It was to arrive by the 8th of July. I tried to check on the status but all I found was it had "shipped". I received an email on Thursday July 6th, saying I could pick it up at my store (Ace Hardware - ******* **). I picked up the saw on July 7th, brought it home and opened it to find it had been inhabited by a family of mice. It was disgusting! It smelled awful and there was debris (mouse dropping and chewed up paper and plastic) everywhere. I called Ace CS and was told I had to take it back to the store. I explained the urgency of the matter and getting nowhere, I asked for a supervisor, the woman told me to wait 5 minutes and she would try to connect me. She finally came back on line and said she could take my number and my call would be returned within 24 hours. I hung up and took the saw back to my Ace store. Once there I spoke with ***. I explained I needed a saw ASAP for a job. He said he would talk to the owner of the store and call me back. He further stated he would work something out even if I bought a 171 Stihl and they put a 18in bar and chain on it. He did however, write up a return for me. The call has never come! I finally got irritated and called around. I found Menards had them in stock and I purchased one from them. I wound up driving all over and spending $50 more. This is terrible Customer treatment and *** has now lost my business after doing business with them for over 30 years!Ace Hardware Corporation

If I could give them zero stars I would. They didn't ship me a complete order and when I call to have them ship the rest of the order, after a long hold time, they told me I needed to contact ***** first to get an incident number and then I could submit a claim. I just wanted my 3 extra mouse traps. Instead I spent $10 on shipping for a $4 mouse trap and a $5 rodent repellent fragrance. They have lost my business over 3 mouse traps they forgot to ship.Ace Hardware Corporation

Purchased a Pleasant Hearth **** sq. ft. Woodstove in Dec 2022 at Ace Hardware Online. Had it delivered to my ********* Hardware Store. There was a problem right away with the fan, so called Pleasant Hearth for a replacement fan. Which was taken care of by Pleasant Hearth. According to the serial # this was a **** sq. ft. *********. It was advertised that it wood cover **** sq. ft. . After some time going around in circles with ***. I finally called the ************************ they told me they do not make a **** sq. ft. ********* in that model. Went back to the Ace Hardware Store told them this. They had a meeting with their sales representative, they told the representative the problem. Right away the advertisement description was changed to the **** sq. ft. My problem is the ad said **** Sq. Ft. that is what I wanted and purchased. I did not get what I paid for. False advertising. How many other customers purchased this thinking the same thing. Had I known this I could have purchased it else were. Have all documentation and emails to support this complaint.Ace Hardware Corporation

*************** ** Went to get keys made. Walked in at 9:10. I was the only customer. One employee on the phone, I asked the other man if he could help me out getting keys made. He said I'll be right down. 12 min later no one. Walked up front, 1 guy still on phone, guy who said he'd be right down was watching TV. I asked what happened, he ignored me. I said this is horrible customer service to which he said- goodbye don't come back! No wonder the lot is empty on a Saturday morning. Typically a small town hardware store is the best at customer service. I often stop at the one in ************ and they are amazing!! Don't worry I won't be back!! I'm also a small business owner in the area to say I was shocked by this behavior is an understatement. The rude employee wasn't a kid either.Ace Hardware Corporation
