Completely disgusted. To start off we signed up for internet more than 4 years ago. A year and half ago they ran fiber to our home. 2 months ago we finally got connected. And without unbiased and setting spite aside, the internet *****. When they ran fiber was wired to our home the left the wire loose above ground stating they were unable to ***** the line. 1 month ago we contacted customer ********************** and they told us they would have a contractor out to ***** the line. Fast forward to now, we came home tonight and our line that was above the ground is now ripped out and completely disconnected. I am a contractor and if I left one of my customers hanging out to dry the way ******************** has me I would loose my business. DO NOT sign up for TDS FIBER. And the saddest part is I know Im not the only one who has like experience with TDS. Not by a long shot. Would give 0* if it would let me. DISGUSTING.

The worst imaginable customer **********************. I am moving away from the area and have found it virtually IMPOSSIBLE to cancel my service with them. Not possible to do online, several calls (some of which were mysteriously "disconnected") and on hold for literal hours, and still no resolution. I cannot understand why business practices like this are legal. I wish there were some way we could hold them to account for this level of customer abuse.

Worst internet provider out there. ******** company and they will still auto deduct payments months after you cancel their horrible service. Even after talking to several supervisors that say they arent.

Although our service was usually fine, I paid for an entire month that we didn't not get services for & they refused many times to reimburse me. They do not prorate even if it's AN ENTIRE BILL CYCLE. Which is just theft to me... I canceled our account BEFORE the payment even processed. I do believe they should have given me my money back. They made nearly $90 off of me with no services provided. I will not recommend them and I will not be a returning customer.

*** provides internet service to our home and there have been intermittent outages over the years. However, last week on 1/21/25 we lost internet service and as of today 1/27/25 we still don't have service. Called the company at least 10 times during the week and spoke to customer ********************** representatives, repair personnel, supervisors and even managers. Every one of them provide no real information as to what the problem is or when service will be reinstated. In fact, what little information was provided changed from day to day. What was consistent was them kicking the can down the road by stating that they are working on repairing the problem and will have a new update in 3 hours, 5 hours .. The last manager we spoke to didn't even know about the problem and promised to keep us apprised of the situation. We received one call from the manager and told us "he didn't have any new information". Since that very informative call, we have not heard from that manager since. The worst customer ********************** I have ever experienced in my entire life. Already have a new internet provider that will be active next month. Good riddance to ***.

Cancel of service was no process. On 10/29/24. I called back about equipment returning process on 11/27/24. They had records of my call for the above date. I know have to pay another month. Zero stars. I was told I could talk to another person about my service. That would have been a third ******* Signing up was easy.

I fired TDS and this is what they've done......After canceling TDS Telecom services (phone, internet, tv) on July 8th they use deceptive billing practices to pay what I owe. My services period cover June 22 thru July 21. However they bill you in the middle of your service period. After cancelling on 7/8 a bill for $180.27 hit my checking account on 7/9 which is a full service period fee. After calling they tell me they do not do pro rated billing and tuff. So I file a disputed transaction document at Chase and they withheld the $180+. Let it be known I acknowledge I owe and am ready to pay but feel that it's closer to probably $100. But wait! there's more.....on 7/18 I get another bill from TDS for $220.93 I called last night on that and it's somehow related to full autopay or a partial (even though they don't do partials) and she would do me a "favor" and gave me $30 in credits so now I owe $190.93 I asked her to send me a breakdown statement for all this and said she would but so far nothing has been received. Today, I tried to log onto my account to see my statements breakdown but I was denied and was told via another phone call that since I canceled on the 8th my access to statements was also canceled. Can you email them to me I ask but was told no (security reasons). Can you print them and mail it to me and said she could but for $5 each. And that only the $180.27 and the $220.93 was available. the $190.97 wasn't in the system yet but did verify that number as correct. So at this point they are expecting me to take their word for it. I accuse TDS Telecom of deceptive billing practices to ripoff their customers. Again I am ready to pay what I logically owe but certainly not the ripoff amount of $190.97 as they actually expect me to take their word for it. I have filed a complaint with the State of Wisconsin Consumer Protection.

I would give them less than a star if it was possible. I was a customer for several years. The internet itself is fantastic and stable. No issues what so ever. The billing on the other hand is an absolute disaster. They switched billing companies in July 2023. Since then I was double or even triple charged on every month after that. My 2 year promotion ended in November of 2023 so I cancelled and went to spectrum when they refused to match spectrums rate for better internet. No big deal I get it. Since they had over charged me several times I was told I wouldnt have another bill until December. So I call and cancel Nov 20, 2023. I get a bill in Dec and they auto drafted. So I call and tell them I shouldnt owe anything and I want to be refunded. I go into my account and pull that card off auto pay. January rolls around. I get a bill for $85 autodrafted on another card they had on file. Have to fight them to get that refunded. (which can take ****** days). I remove all cards off file and claim fraud on all of them to prevent more charges. I get a statement today Feb 28 2024 that the balance I am owed is $-120 with $12 in charges reducing my money owed to $-107. Call and ask where all my refunded money is 4 MONTHS LATER and STILL $0 has been refunded. This company needs to be audited. They are stealing from customers and I promise I am not the only one.

In my final bill TDS charged me for the Affordable Connectivity Program, which is funded through the **** After speaking with a TDS representative on a recorded line, they refused to correct the final bill and told me "do whatever you think is best for you." So I did. I filed a complaint with the *** against TDS showing proof from the final bill that I was billed for an *** provided credit. I received a letter several weeks later from TDS alleviating me of any debt with them. Apparently charging a customer for a federal credit is slightly frowned upon and "hypothetically" illegal.

The ** and internet are great! The lies they spew not so good! I signed up for FREE FOR 3 MONTHS! I got my first bill today that was $194.11. Mind you I got hooked up the end of August of 2023. I called customer ********************** and they told me I owed them from my bill in September and October and they already scheduled me for disconnection. I was told no money down and no contracts so what's the deal?? There simply just isn't one. Go elsewhere and pay the extra amount if need be.
