    Buyer Beware if you buy from Schimmer Ford. July of 2023 I ordered a **** Maverick from ********. it wasn't until I heard others who had ordered from other dealers months after me and already had build dates that I became annoyed. I started contacting the dealer periodically to check on the status and was always just told **** hasnt picked up the order yet and they cant give me any updates. When I contacted **** customer service and was told they had no record of my order. I then sent an email to the *** of **** and head of customer relations and within a day I was contacted by ****, they took the information on my order escalated it and gave me a build date. Something maybe the dealer could have done months ago and I wouldnt have been waiting for almost a year. i had told the dealer several times that I wanted to be notified as soon as they got a build date. They assured me they would. I waited three days after **** had located and scheduled a build for my truck and still no updates from the dealer. I wrote a letter to the president expressing my dissatisfaction with the follow-up and customer service and why did I have to be the one to go to corporate and get this order moving. I received a snarky email back with absolutely no appologies and basically telling me to feel free to buy the truck elsewhere. I have waited almost a year. If he had offered even one apology for his staff not following up and a willingness to do the best he could on my trade, or in any respect at least pretended he wanted to earn my business I would have gone through with the deal. But he might as well have told me to F- off, go somewhere else. So thats how they treat their customers. I was told to go somewhere else I did, seems possibly some numbers were fudged at Schimmer also, I was able to order the exact same truck from a different dealer for $4,000 less than my quote from Schimmer a year ago, and I already have a build date.
