    They say I owe money for an account for military persons only. I have never been in the military and don't know anyone in the military who is still alive. I told them this and they want me to file a dispute. I don't want to give them any more information about me

    I received a debt collection from Steel River systems, LLC for a credit card debt that was forgiven from ******************* 10 years ago. I still have the original Cancellation of Debt statement from 2013. This company is a scam and is trying to collect money that is not owed and is past the legal deadline for collection. I hope everyone reads this review and doesnt fall prey to their illegal tactics to try collecting on debts not owed. If they continue to sent out letters and harass you, contact your lawyer and *** them!

    They tried to collect a debt from 20 years ago that went through probate court and was settled and closed.I was waiting for my son to return my called and gave them my debit card information. When he called me back he told me that things went through probate and was settled and case is closed, that it was 20 years ago and they had no right to demand money. Called the bank to refund charges and cancel my debit card and issue a new card. I want them to cease & desist calls and mail. Also to update their computer
