I canceled services with Verizon Connect in July of 2023. They ended up taking ACH of roughly 27k when a negotiated end of contract amount of 6k was agreed upon. I have had a credit on account of over 21k and have tried to call multiple times to get this credit refunded and keep getting the run around. To date I have yet to receive a credit of 21k returned to me. Everything I call I get a support agent overseas who creates case#'s and passes me to my account rep who keeps changing every few weeks.Initial Complaint

Since 2021, our business has been trying to cancel services with Verizon Reveal Connect.We have been told countless times via phone/email (we can provide documentation) that the account has been canceled. Yet we continue to receive invoices, past due notices, etc.We have spoken with numerous customer support people and have requested to speak with the highest up manager, only to be told they are unable to connect us to the manager.On numerous occasions, we have received notice that the service has been canceled, only to then receive yet another invoice the following month. We have also been told by ******* services that we need to speak with *******s receivable (both we have done) yet accounts receivable does not show cancelation on their end (yet account/customer service does see cancelation on their side).Initial Complaint

We purchased 3 fleet trackers from Verizon Connect.When we received the units on the mail immediately after opening the pancake we find out which this is a wrong product, too large for our construction equipment. i.e. skid ************ skid steer Mini Excavator Diesel Core Cut Walk Behind Saw Air Compressors.Air Tools.Trenchers Concrete Finishing.Concrete Placing and Concrete Vibrators.Drills and Drill ************************************** ...................Etc.These units were too big for attaching to equipment and not be able to be find by thiefs and be removed quickly and not be able to track stolen equipment.We called and told them these are not good for our use.Please cancel our contract and send the return label for sending back to you.None of these units opened from original packaging and never been used.I have requested a thorough investigation because few people lied on the phone and I did record my conversation with ********* the supervisor with her permission.I am requesting again which Verizon connect send all supporting document and script of our recorded conversation to BBB since they are not sending me anything for their claim which is all baseless and they don't have any proof to show they sent us the return labels or any activities on any of units. (They are only verbally lie to me and avoid sent us any proof, because the unit never opened to be installed on any equipments.)Initial Complaint

Back on December, we spoke with *********************** Account Executive with phone number ************ about the *** service for our trucking company. ************************** sent us in writing that in the event of the service not working 99.7% of the time, we could cancel the contract with no penalty or fees. Upon receiving the ***'s, the devices were not working, we received a really bad service from the first day of connecting the products, these were not working correctly, lost signal, the service didn't have features that the Sales Rep ****** we will have. It was a nightmare to call support. We couldn't work with these devices. In one day we've made more than 20 calls trying to get this service to work, but it did not. Next day, we've contacted Verizon for Cancellation, and they "escalated" to their Finance Team. They closed the case indicating that we have to pay a termination fee in the amount of $3,960.00, even though we have evidence that the sales rep informed us there was no cancellation fee. I have called many times, and they continue charging us a monthly fee. Our Account number is **********. Attached letter from the Sales Rep where he indicated "No Penalty, No Fee". Inclusive we asked where to send the equipment, and no one has replied yet. We have reached ****, and via text he stated that he has contacted ******************************************************************** the person assigned to the case, and we are still being charged a monthly service fee for something we did not used and requested cancellation. We are requesting a cancellation of this mediocre service immediately without the fees as agreed with the Sales Rep.Initial Complaint

1/31/2020 Service Order was provided by Verizon Connect (VC) to our company to try a new way of tracking our three company vehicles. 3/9/20 ERS was unable to install the tracking devices. VC was contacted on 3/9/20 for help and VC was unable to help us install stating their devices were incompatible with our company vehicles reference #******** and ERS asked to return merchanidise and cancel the account. ERS followup with VC on 6/10/20, 7/21/20, 9/29/20 and finally an RMA was provided RMA Reference Number 1: ********. CSR's for VC that assisted: *****************************, *******************, ***********************, ***************************, *************************, *************************. Merchandise returned on 9/30/20 account closed. 5/9/23 *********************** started receiving emails "Past Due ********************************* Notice" from a Verizon Connect Fleet USA, LLC Collection Analyst. VC was sent via **** Certified Mail Receipt a letter from ERS dated 8/1/23. As a business and a consumer, it is bad business to collect for services NOT rendered or for equipment returned. Trying to communicate with Verizon Connect has been difficult and our original return and cancellation was never recognized. On 11/22/23 our firm received a notice from ************************************************************** (MBW). We called 12/4/23 at 4:24pm, left a message and we never heard a response from *********************************. 2/2/24 we received a Settlement Notice from MBW stating they would settle for $1,702 (of the original $3,404). I called on 2/13/24 and were placed on hold for over 10 minutes and then told that they could only document what I told them, "we never used Verizon Connect services and returned all the merchandise back on 9/30/20". Why are we still being contacted? This experience has been horrible, waste of time, harassing, and VC did not provide a product or service. I am formally requesting Verizon Connect has no further contact with our firm, and to close this account without payment or penalty. I purchased 15 Non-Powered Asset trackers in May 2023. Immediatly we started having tecnical troubles with them. Our representative, ***************************, did not return any of my calls or emails. I have been working with customer service since then trying to get our contract for the 15 non-powered asset trackers cancelled. We continue to pay every month for the faulty equipment. We installed 6 of the trackers and only 1 remains working properly. We stopped installing the trackers because they did not work. I have tried repeately to get my calls and emails returned. I was promised a refund of my Aug 2023-Jan 2024 fees paid and still have not recieved that. I am very unhappy that I continue to be billed for equipment that does not function at all. I do not know how to get this resolved. I would like all 15 non-powered asset trackers removed from my monthly bill and I would like the contract for those cancelled.Initial Complaint

Have been attempting to cancel my service from Verizon Connect/Reveal for over a year now since the *** locating equipment failed, started causing electrical problems in our trucks, and "tech support" was of no help. Initial contact with this company was during the week of March 16, 2023.Initially was provided a "buyout" price of over $8,000 despite records of the service not working and no attempt from technical support to contact me to resolve the issue. We decided to allow the "billing to continue" as $8,000 for a "buyout" is an outrageous amount of money for a service that is not working and re-initiate the cancellation closer to the end of the term of our "contract."I initiated contact again toward the end of last year; received an email on December 21, 2023 from an unknown representative [sic] "This email is in regards to the cancellation in order to proceed with the cancellation there is a buyout of 588USD, please agree to the buyout so we can move forward cancelling the acc."I responded on Jan 2, 2024 at 8:48AM agreeing to the charge. No response, and our account continued to be billed.I place a phone call last week for the purpose of finalizing the cancellation. I received a phone call back from a customer service representative on Friday (2/2/2024) of last week, and after being transferred to *******'s supervisor, was told that I would be contacted Monday (2/5/2024). The "buyout" price this rep provided was over $5,000.I still have not been contacted by Verizon Connect, and I have no confirmation that my service has been cancelled. I have *** trackers that are not working, sitting in a box in my office. I am still being billed for a service that has not worked in over a year that I was forced to find another solution for after the terrible tech support I received....so I am now paying for two services to receive the *** location tracking service that Verizon Connect has failed to provide in a working manner.Initial Complaint

In January of 2023 we canceled some of our vehicle trackers through Verizon Connect. Verizon Connect bills us through Verizon Wireless where we have cell phones and business lines. In March of 2023, Verizon Connect put a charge through to Verizon Wireless for $3,950.40. They said this was for early cancellation but I had previous confirmation in writing from the Verizon Connect employee that there would be no cancelation charge. Verizon Wireless then proceeded to shut our phones down due to non-payment. I ended up paying the amount so we could get our phones turned back on. Then in August of 2023 Verizon Connect sent through the credit in the amount of -$3,900.99. I have a credit balance with Verizon Wireless now because of the credit and because of my payment. In December 2023 I received a notice from Verizon Connect that they were shutting down our vehicle trackers because of non-payment. They said I had a bill from September in the amount of $3,565.80. This has never shown up on my Verizon Wireless bill and I still have a credit on there. I have spent so many hours on this and I don't know what to do. They have shut our tackers down for the last month, say I owe $3,111.34 even though my bill has a credit. Everytime I call Verizon Connect they pass me around from person to person with no result. Verizon Wireless won't help me because I don't owe anything to them. PLEASE HELP!!!Initial Complaint

We have been in contact with customer service since 7/14/2023 regarding canceling our contract and not renewing in Sept 2023. This company has ignored our emails, our calls, and they have not cancelled our contract. They want to charge us a fee to cancel our contract since it's passed the renewal of $3939.95 even though we have proof that our cancel request was 30days BEFORE renewal. We were charge monthly for their services which we paid an additional 3 month. We have been trying to cancel our contract with Verizon connect just July or August of 2023. We have been very unhappy with the service and the equipment. Over the last several months we have spoken with several different people, and each has given us a different story. I can share the many emails between us for reference. The main reason for this claim is that I was told a few months back that the account was being closed and there would be no $$ due, because of all of the problems we have had, however this was told to me over the phone and not in an email; therefore, I have no proof. I am now speaking with two different representatives; they are agreeing to give us some discounts but refuse to provide me with a detail of these discounts. They just want me to pay a lump sum. I am not comfortable with just sending money without a detailed invoice. I need to know what to do. I do not want to cause harm to my company for not paying a bill, but on the other hand I do not want to give them several thousands of dollars for contracts and equipment that did not work. Ultimately, I would like to just have the account closed and call us even.
