      We've been banking at Wintrust *************************** and Trust) for almost 15 years, and have never received anything less then exceptional service.

      The absolute worst automated system on the planet. Problem is, customer representatives are equally bad. I spent 15 minutes talking about an issue and the rep spent the same loud talking and trying to dismiss it. Wintrust sent me a statement that my escrow was low by $1267.31 and that I could pay it or have it divided by 12 and added to the monthly payment. I chose to pay the $1267.31, because I didn't want any increase in the way I have my payments set up. Would you believe that on May 1, Wintrust increase my mortgage by $54.74 and said it was due to insurance and tax increase. Told her then why not say escrow was off by $1924.19 and divide it by 12 or pay it in full to get a true picture. She once tried to dismiss me with projected taxes and insurance bull. I got a lower interest rate but at present looking into taking the bite on a higher interest rate over poor customer relations and false information. If this is hidden, who knows what else lurks.

      I open an account May 2021 online because I have a disability that the bank doesnt want to accommodate me with. I never got my account number. I called bank branch but I was directed to central representative who said she couldn't provide me with account number but she saw it in her system. I had to go in person. I let it go because I was very sick for months. Last Saturday I went in person to drive through. I was told they can't give me my account number unless I go in person and know my password. They still cant accommodate my disability. I ask them for just some of my money...they refused to send me withdraw slip, they had my driving license this whole time. Im told the manager will contact me on Monday. I refuse. I want my account number or my money. They refuse. I go home, bring my boyfriend -at that time I was so sick and had problems to breathe- we go inside and I felt like having a heart attack -part of my illness disability issue-...I ask to close my account when they refuse to tell me my account number -so I can move money online- and also they refuse to give me some money -they continue with the issue with password but zero help to help me to reset it if it is wrong...no idea if it was wrong or right and after sticking to my will, they agree to close my account but I will have my money on Monday to pick it up. I can't go back, I give authorization right there for my boyfriend to pick up the money on Monday. I just sign a withdraw slip with no money amount, no account nothing. I asked if for real I will get my money on money with my boyfriend. Yes, sure, we just need to talk to the manager on Monday. Today Monday, my boyfriend got a call they cant give him the money before talking to me. By the way they kept telling me my account was in the statements...statements that were all returned to them because my address is not the one in the driving license as I stated from day one to the lady on the phone. But NO one ever contacted me. No account # or money yet

      We believe this matter has been resolved. ************************** takes customer concerns seriously and our goal is to provide an accommodating banking environment for all customers. To accommodate our customer needs, we have many banking options that *** be available instead of visiting a branch, such as online banking, using our mobile app, telephone banking or visiting an ATM.

      Worst customer service on the planet! Transfered my loan and lost flood insurance paperwork in the process. Then they bought me a **** flood policy after calling 3 times and being assured it was an automated letter and to disregard. Never doing business with them again

      The staff is friendly and always attentive. They know people by name and not just mine i hear it as others come into the branch.
