    Late for appointment on quote, quote was for 15% more square footage than I have. Now other concrete contractors don't show up for competitive bids after gladly taking initial call and setting up appointments. Locked into unfair quote without competition. Stay away or be held hostage to unfair business practices

    I have no information to confirm that we were late, rarely does it happen but if we are, it's usually due to a previous appointment running longer than anticipated. We always try to call to let our customers know we are running late. As far as the extra square footage, I believe your job was over ***** square feet with curves that can leave a lot to interpretation. We have no control over other companies not responding to your phone call or showing up for appointments. All we could do is give our free estimate, and you are free to choose who you want to use. If you had a question about the proper square footage or anything else, we are happy to take a phone call and explain, but we do not have any record of you reaching out with any questions. Unlike other companies, we did show up and gave you a free estimate and would have been happy to answer any questions. To say that we're holding you hostage are pretty strong words considering we didn't take any money from you and you never signed a contract. .All we did was give you a free estimate and our time. You are free to do what you want.

    The quality of the stamping and coloring of the concrete were quite good; the stoop and sidewalk look great. Unfortunately, the new sidewalk ended 2 to 3 inches short of the driveway and with a height difference of about 1 1/2 inches - quite a tripping hazard. When I contacted K&M about the issue, they, amazingly, blamed the driveway and said I should patch it myself or get a new driveway; none of this was mentioned during the initial survey, and, there was nothing in the contract.
