August 2nd I entered into contract to have a fence installed by Peerless fence for $4, 606 of which I gave them a deposit for $2,303 at that same time to my debit card.From the get-go talking with the salesman that was here he knew I was getting a new driveway put in and I was trying to coordinate the fence with the driveway having the fence done first so they can use the driveway to work off of.I was also told from the beginning of the 8 to 10 weeks for scheduling around week 8 as you'll see in some of the attachments I started asking *** about installation and for 2 weeks almost 3 weeks he kept telling me something was going to call me nobody ever did.Now we're getting into October and three other new people contact me about the fence.I filed a dispute with my bank which is ***** in the morning was returned back to me for holding until the dispute was rectified and I brought this to their attention.Another week goes by and we're going back and forth about a permit and I was wrong that I didn't need a permit I live in **** County, Aurora Township and for most things we don't need a permit but for a privacy fence we do.Within 4 days I inquired about my permit got it and sent them all the information they needed for it and they still would not continue till the money was back and their Bank.So as you also see some attachments I told them I'll call the bank which I did and sent the letter from the bank of the reversal of my dispute saying the money was being sent back to Peerless fence.I asked in good faith could they at least install my post by October 21st I heard from no one. Sense September 15 and promised me numerous times someone was going to call me they're going to schedule it would be installed and everything is in stock.I will also attach some reviews from your site stating the same company in April to the same thing to them they finally got taken care of in September but that's not what they promised to start with.Please adviseBusiness Response

Currently the customer has filed a payment dispute with his bank and funds have been withheld from his bank to us for the initial down payment. Peerless Fence is prepared to install the fence once the payment dispute has been settled in full and the initial payment for the deposit of 50% down needed has been paid.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I sent this information the money was withdrawn from my account on October 21st last Friday this information was already provided they're stalling tactics go on and on.*** another gentleman from Peerless Fence was as given this information last week.
The money has been in their possession from August 2 for 8 weeks out of the 10 weeks of them delaying and putting my fence in contacting me scheduling me doing what a company should do for a paid customer that is not important to them apparently.

Peerless stated via email on 10/6 that as soon as we received a copy of the permit, which is the responsibility of the Homeowner to obtain, and received the original 50% deposit back with was disputed and Mr. ******* bank pulled back the funds from us, that we would get the installation of the fence scheduled. As of this time Customer has failed to provide replacement deposit for CC chargeback on original transaction for deposit. Attempts to resolve unsuccessful. Project has been cancelled. Attached is the transaction record with the credit card vendor with last record showing from 10/25/22. The customer has not provided us with any documentation from his bank showing any transaction of payment after this date.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: Peerless fence is 100% wrong. The money put in my ********** account when filing my dispute was the banks money which they do until the DISPUTE has been investigate and determined the findings of their customers dispute.Peerless fence can not provide me with any bank statement proving my original deposit was taken out of their bank account.If they are canceling my contract they need to return my deposit which is still in their possession!You can check this out by contacting ********** customer services.They keep determining I need to deposit money when in fact it never left their bank account.

We have provided documentation to ****************** and are providing it once again, showing that his bank withdrew his original deposit payment of $2,302.00 along with additional fees from us after the dispute was filed and we lost and we have not received any payment since. We have no money from Mr. ************** He also has not provided any documentation back to us from his bank showing any transaction/payment made to Peerless fence after 10/25/22 to show otherwise. I had a fence installed by Peerless Fence in June 2022, Invoice# ****** out of ****************** ** office. Peerless installed a damaged fence post as well as a damaged gate (warped, cracked wood from installation). Peerless has dragged their feet in their responses, lack of customer service. it has been almost 2 months and they have not made the repairs. i feel that i am getting the run around by them. most recently a sales rep was to have called me by EOB 9/8/2022, never heard from them.Business Response

Our Operations Manager, ***************************** spoke with ************** and discussed his remaining concerns and an action plan to resolve. It was agreed that we will be replacing a post and gate. We will also be replacing approximately 12-pickets and in additional will be providing an additional 12-pickets for a different section of the fence that was there to replace some older pickets in need of replacing. We will also be providing additional compensation back for any inconvenience. It was agreed to that this work will take place on Friday, 10/7.Initial Complaint

Contract was for a powder coated steel fence. After install it was noted that there are several areas of rust across the majority of the panels and caps. Im still missing a gate & have a zip tied panel in place of it. Areas were spray painted over by the installers at time of install. Paint is bubbling up on panels or scratched and peeling off. This fence is not going to be approved by HOA. It is not powder coated as contracted. Would like this replaced with a different brand of fencing or removed and refunded.Business Response

On 6/1/22 I Contracted with Peerless Fence to install a fence on my property. The total cost was agreeded to be $2886.00 I paid a deposit of $1443.00. The agreement states "start date 6-8 weeks or less". I have neved heard back from Peerless regarding installation. I have contacted them several times myself. I was told they have some management problems. and will look into getting the fence installed. On August I1,2022 I called them and was told that I would receive a call "tomorrow setting a start date". No call. I called today 8/23/22 and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and asked to speak to a member of management. Put on hold for a few minutes and then was told that one member of the staff had been told to call me and he didn't. Again put on hold, then a voice message said leave a message. I did. Have not heard back from peerless.Business Response
