Beware of this dealership's scam tactics. ********************* is very deceiving. They sold my car and haven`t told me for months about it! This is utter nonsense and not ethical dealership! If you do business with them demand to see paperwork!!!They also deleted my review from their ****** account!

I just purchased a car from **** at Charleston Classics. The car had to be shipped across several state lines, and arrived on time and an excellent condition. I was pleased with the professional way in which I was dealt. **** was true to his word, and the car I received was the car I expected in terms of condition. I would highly recommend this business as a place for you to buy your next classic car.

I purchased a **** Buick Grand National in December of 2022. I made an agreement with the salesman (*********************) that I would buy the vehicle if a few repairs were made. Since I didn't plan to drive the vehicle in the winter months I was not in a hurry to pick up the vehicle. I picked up the vehicle on a trailer in April because I live 100 miles away and didn't have anyone to ride with me. From the moment I brought the vehicle home it had smoke pouring out of the engine compartment and extra heavy exhaust. ********************* kept telling me it was a PCV valve problem. I did research and told him everything I read pointed to a bad cylinder. I brought it back to them on April 24 with the understanding they would fix it. 10 days later I finally got in touch with **** and he said he put a new PCV valve and it was fixed. He said he did diagnostic tests and everything was fine. I picked it up on a trailer again. I got it home and it smoked just as bad. I brought it to a local mechanic and he determined that cylinder #5 had no compression by simply performing a compression test. This proved that I was lied to by Charlestown Classics. Now I need an engine rebuild for about $7,500.00. I paid $40k for this vehicle and to this day have not been able to drive it. I have spent over $1k on fuel, trailer rentals, and paying a mechanic to assess the cylinder #5 issue. I posted a review on ****** and a review on ******** and Charlestown Classics has blocked me from visiting their website. That is how they have handled this situation so far.

On June 12, 2023 ********************* from Charlestown Classics offered to reimburse me $4,200.00 for the repairs to my **** Buick GN. I accepted the offer on June 12, 2023. I have an email chain that states the offer by **** and the acceptance by me. Now **** is refusing to pay the promised reimbursement. I am not sure where to turn to now. Small Claims court and/or the Attorney General of ******** is possibly my next step.
