I went to my ph call confirmed appointment 10mins early, was taken back immediately, x rays taken, only to wait over an hr. Clients came n went n I set n set n set. Then a guy came and told me my xrays showed no cavities. Proceeded to give me "a cleaning" which was like a water pick. Water splashing all I've rmy face just being irrigated only. No floss. No fluoride treatment. Just irrigation I could have done at home. I was offered a paper towel and asked if I felt better. I blankly looked at them and said I only felt rinsed off is all. Boom, I was thanked and deserted, left me a goodie bag consist of toothpaste and a brush. I'm astonished that was considered a cleaning. I was Asked if I wanted x rays it was just automatically bang boom done. I won't be back and I have a fb to spread WHat I experiencedFamilia Dental LLC

Took my daughter to the familia office in **************** we have to drive 30 minutes to get there she had her first visit 5 weeks ago where they gave her an x-ray and said they had to submit her insurance to make sure that it was valid at her next appointment they told her that her insurance had been submitted to the wrong location and they could not do any work on her that day. That is would be at least another five days before she could be seen. Even though they sent her a text confirming her appointment.Familia Dental LLC

Sunday, 3/12/2023 - I have left reviews on Familia Dental site. I believe my reviews do not show on their review site because I left 1 star. They only show 5 stars reviews with a few 4 stars & one 3 stars rating out of 127 reviews. I have been left waiting 45 mins for an appointment for which I was 5 minutes early. At min. 15, I went to ask how much longer, I was told a couple of minutes $ it ended up being another 30 mins. with no one informing me or offering to reschedule.I have been given questionable advice regarding the use of a water pic for swollen gums. I have left the office with ****** gauze in my mouth that they forgot to remove. I don't know if this is deliberate or they're just woefully mismanaged. I am retired & have ******** & add-on services, one being dentistry. I have only been to Familia Dental about 5 times. I received a bill for $2,054.05 for five visits: 6/24/21, 7/29/2021, 4/25/2022, & 9/20/22. Two items for 9/20/22 were the ONLY charges submitted to insurance, & those charges ($35 & $15) were paid in full. I've no idea why my other charges were not submitted. I am also unclear as to why it has taken almost two years to receive a bill. I attempted to call the corporate office in **********, ** & the local office in *******, **, hoping to leave a message. However, there was no way to leave a message at either number. I will contact them tomorrow, but I also plan to contact ******** to make sure they didn't charge ******** and STILL bill me. If there is nothing nefarious going on, they are woefully inept and need to be customer service trained or closed. So, looking for a new dentist. Who knows if they have kept my records from my five visits to provide to my next dentist. I need a dentist whose office is efficient, organized & professional. Familia Dental isn't the place that can provide that experience. Depending on how this is resolved, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB & possibly the American Dental Association.Familia Dental LLC

They are terrible with a capital T. I went for my x-rays and they told me they couldn't find anything and nothing was done, they didn't have any x-rays for me. I called my insurance company and they told me Familia had billed my insurance and I am suppose to get x-rays from them. This place is trash and just want to bill insurances and not have anyone report them. We'll, I'm not the one. They need to not only be shut out if dental networks, they need to be shut down. The girls at the desk are useless, unprofessional and the gatekeepers for all the wrong being done here. But the owners or dentist have to be giving them permission to do their illegal practices. Please investigate this dental place. It's not fair for paying customers whether you have insurance or not to be getting billed and not be treated right or getting their records which are legally theirs. I will be contacted the American Dental Association and a lawyer if I don't receive what's mine. My insurance company has been trying to contact them for over a week and they will not answer the phone. I'm sure the staff recognizes their number when they call. Please help people against predators like these dental office that's ripping people off and getting away with it. I see they have numerous complaints against them. The dentist that pulled my teeth told me that all my teeth had to be removed in order to get dentures. They were supposed to call me for an appointment to be fitted for dentures 2 weeks after he pulled 21 teeth . Yes, he pulled all 21 at one time. Then they disappeared. No one would return my calls or set an appointment for over a year and left me out here to fend for myself. Do not recommend this place to anyone.Familia Dental LLC

The girls that handle payment are telling customers to pay cash cause their machine is down. They don't want customers to have proof of payment so they can steal the money for themselves. I'm sure I'm not the only customer they've done this to and me and my lawyer will be getting to the bottom of this.Familia Dental LLC

I have been to this Clinic more than 3 years now. last October i had an appointment for filling and the ************* over filled my tooth and drop dental tool on my tooth got chipped and ever since they are pushing me around for rescheduling and I still have chipped tooth and not able to be seen. The office person is telling me that I will reimburse my gasoline for my car. it's not about gasoline it's about my time and nobody is capable to call me for rescheduling. Every time I go to the appointment and I cannot be seen and they now say that chipped tooth was not caused by them.***************** like otherwise I will be filling out 30 pages paperwork for you. ?? Went to the clinic last week on ********************** in ******* *********. Waited a long time, and when I got in the room I waited some more. Finally the dentist or hygienist (whatever she was) came in and proceeded to do the most rushed sloppy job of dental cleaning I have ever had in my life and I'm kind of old and get my teeth cleaned every year. My regular dentist was full for a couple of months so I took a chance with them. You know how they scrape your teeth first with the tool and then they use the laser to get what they missed? Yeah none of that. I had four x-rays and 10 minutes in the chair getting water sprayed on me while she hurriedly used the laser tool. They offered to coat my teeth with fluoride when they were done which I turned down. About 10 minutes in the chair with the laser tool and them squirting water all over me and I was done. No polishing of my teeth, no flossing flossing. No discussion of my teeth even though I took the trouble of having my x-rays sent over there from my regular dentist. I wasn't in the chair more than 15 minutes tops. And when I called ******** I found out they had billed them $434.50 for it! Be warned, this place is horrible.Familia Dental LLC

Horrible service very unprofessional I went into their office in ************** ** in April for : one tooth replacement : a partial here it is August 4 months later without a date of my lab bring returned also the Denist tried to make me a mouth full of teeth I never asks for and its been down hill since than the company is also holding a ***** down payment on my partial that I asks to be refunded to me I spoke with customers and have left serval messages for the lady *** to return my call as of today Nothing August 4,2022,.. Im single and worked hard for my money and getting my tooth fixed meant a lot to this year My sons 40th birthday now my birthday, my granddaughter 13th is approaching,,, I asks for a refined Nothing .. this company deal with low income people like myself but its my hard earned moneyFamilia Dental LLC
