  I have learned a lot thorough this school and I received the guidance when I needed. Sometimes they delay their responses but overall I am happy with this online learning experience.

  The PsyD program offers a rigorous and pragmatic curriculum, demanding a high level of commitment. I selected CSU's PsyD Program because of its practical and interesting courses, which significantly enhanced my knowledge and practical skills in areas such as motivation, cognition, psychopathology, psychopharmacology, neuropsychology, and research methods. The professors are responsive, knowledgeable, and hold high expectations, contributing to the program's intensity. The faculty of the PsyD program is highly reputable and active in the field, bringing practical experience to the forefront. I took a class from a professor who is indeed a renowned author of a commonly used psych assessment, adding significant credibility to the program. The courses are intentionally designed to prepare the students for the dissertation process. The statistics course required the students to compose a mini research paper from scratch, with the professor providing step-by-step guidance and feedback throughout.The academic advisors do change often and the students need to be proactive. As a virtual program, it requires a strong sense of self-discipline and motivation, reflecting the prevalent trends in modern education. Students are expected to meet weekly reading, discussion, and assignment deadlines consistently, and those unable to do so will likely find this program less attractive and challenging to complete. The stringent requirements emphasize the program's commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

  California Southern University mentors I have encountered lack professionalism and lack of communication. I have sent numerous emails asking for help, and the mentors lack providing me with the necessary assistance for the dissertation program. I was told when I enrolled in the program that I would obtain the necessary help from the mentors, and the program was guided to help me succeed in the dissertation program which the mentors lack. California Southern University would need to look into whom they hired to teach their program because the mentors I encountered did not assist me very well in the program, and looking at the schools online reviews confirms other students are experiencing similar issues with communication with the school. The mission statement, integrity, and values of the school did not meet my expectations, and I was expecting more from a higher-learner online education program. No one wants to take accountability for their actions or demonstrate to show me that they care as a paying student at California Southern University. I had no other choice but to withdraw from the program and pursue other endeavors.

  This school is a scam. It does not meet ANY educational requirements. The courses are not courses they charge you upwards of $1500 to read a single book per semester with ZERO guidance or actual teaching. I had 3 advisors in less than 3 weeks during the program. I am in process of reporting this fake institution to the state of California. It's a scam and a money grab. They accept EVERYONE and there are no academic standards. I saw people writing at arguably a 6th grade level in a GRADUATE program. There is no guidance, no education or actual teaching. It's highly disturbing that people are able to enter the counseling and psychology field having attended this artifice of a "school." Further good luck getting assistance with anything. They also lie during their admissions process. They will say anything to get you to enroll. Save your money, time, and energy and go to a real school

  That is a blatant lie. I am considering getting a lawyer. The school has managed to slip past any proper review of their work. It's an absolute joke. My calls and emails were ignored for weeks. And I was robbed. This school is absolute trash and is not providing ANY valid education. It's dangerous.

  I registered for MA in Psychology. There are no real instructions. All you get is a forum and a few preprinted assignments. They tell you to go read a few pages of one of the chapters in the textbook and resolve a deep psychology issue of a woman with abandoning issues and then offer solutions for her troubling marriage. That is, you already need to be an experienced psychoanalyst to be able to do that. As for the teaching you will receive a few links to 5-minute ******* videos by some of the psychologists out there. If you have issues, your mentor will never get back to you. They demand certain things on the assignments but Whatever you submit they will give you full passing score. This is a good school if you are only after a degree but I hope that public is informed about this issue.
