      I saw Barrington Orthopedics from 7/28/22 through 12/31/22, for a workmans comp injury. I had surgery to repair a shattered kneecap on 8/4/22, and began Therapy on 9/19/22 through 12/5/22. My therapist was super careful to make sure she had approval from WC for my visits. I am now receiving harassing emails and messages from their billing department about my very first PT appointment on 9/19/22. I made it very clear to everyone that I could not afford to pay what workmans comp would not! Now I had major surgery, countless doctors visits, and therapy sessions before and after that date, all paid for, and they just now figured out they didnt receive payment for one therapy session over a year later when the file with WC has been closed out? This is a really lousy way to do business. I believe that this is not my problem, rather an attempt by their billing department to make up for sloppy paperwork.
