      RUN AWAY FROM BARRINGTON ORTHOPEDIC SPECIALISTS SCAM SCAM SCAM RUNNING UP BILLS WITH SURGICAL PROCEDURES NOT NEEDED..... DOCTOR MATTHEW BERNSTEIN. Made a appointment for a cyst on my thumb had me do all the expensive procedure tests not needed XRAY MRI PRE SURGICAL NURSE WOUND THERAPY DOCTOR MATTHEW BERNSTINE set up surgery to remove NOT NEEDED..... went for second opinion doctor drained cyst went away next day as stated by the second opinion doctor XRAY MRI WOUND THERAPY was never needed. ETHICS AND BUSINESS PRACTICE IS A SCAM AT BARRINGTON ORTHOPEDICS SPECIALISTS STAY AWAY FOR YOUR HEALTH AND POCKETBOOK......

      I was being treated for lower back pain and my physician wanted to do an injection. However to do this, he needed an MRI and insurance required 12 physical therapy visits. After the ************************************************************************* to schedule. I was told I have to do more visits. Ultimately, this resulted in over 6 months of going to physical therapy and they would never allow me to stop so I could move forward with my treatment. Recently, I received a bill from them that was already passed due with information on a payment plan. Apparently, they think a payment plan is one payment because that is all that is allowed on the *********** upset at the misleading behavior and actions taken. In addition, each physical therapy visit is billed in 3 categories making it very expensive, even though not all the categories occurred on each visit (usually 2 out of 12 visits it would have). Transparency is important in medical care. Barrington ortho has no prevented me from receiving the treatment I need so I can move around and has put me in financial strain, further delaying my treatment here and other medial treatments I require.

      Dont go here for PT, they will mislead you on pricing. They said $110 per session, which was true for the first 4 sessions or so. Afterwards, I didnt get another bill for over 3 weeks and my bill rises to $250 per with no warning, leaving me to pay for the elevated bills all at once. Is it a coincidence my bills were delayed as soon as they raised the price on me? They then had the audacity to try adding more sessions during my last one. Find somewhere else.
