    I BROUGHT MY WIFES NEW WATCH IN FOR A NEW BATTERY. I TOLD THE OWNER HE THE REPAIR MAN THAT I WANTED A NEW BATTERY. HE REMOVED THE BACK **** COVER AND LOOKED AT THE WATCH HE OUT IN ABATTERY BUT TOLD ME IT WOULDN'T WORK BECAUSE OF HOW LONG THE OLD BATTERY WAS IN. ANYWAY, HE PRECEEDED TO PUT COVER BACK ON AND WAS STRUGLING DOING THAT. HE HANDED IT TO ME AND I TOOK IT AND PUT IT IN THE PLASTIC BAG I BROUGHT. I WENT TO MY CAR AND DECEIDED TO LOOK AT THE WATCH AND THE COVER WAS NOT ON. I WENT BACK IN AND TOLD HIM. I GAVE HIM THE WATCH AND HE STARTED TO PUT THE **** COVER ON BUT IT WASN'T GOING ON. HE TELLS ME IT WAS ON WHEN HE GAVE IT BACK TO ME, YEA YOU NEED A TOOL TO TAKE IT OFF HOW COULD IT HAVE BEEN ON LIKE YOU SAID. I TOLD HIM HE HAS TO FIX IT AND WE GOT INTO A SHOUTING MATCH. HE WAS YELLING AT ME GET OUT OF MY STORE LEAVE ME ALONE. I SAID YOU BROKE IT YOU HAVE TO FIX IT HES YELLING LEAVE ME ALONE GET OUT OF MY STORE. I LEFT. THIS OWNER IS A BAD HUMAN BEING. HES GOT ALOT OF ANGER IN HIM, HE SEEMS UNFIT TO EVEN DEAL WITH PEOPLE ON A DAILY BASIS. SO NOW WHO PAYS FOR MY WIFES WATCH TO GET FIXED AFTER HE BROKE IT.

    I am rejecting this response because: I DON'T BLEIVE THIS BUSINESS OWNER IS GOING TO HELP ME GET MY WATCH FIXED. I WILL CLOSE THIS CASE AFTER I GET A RESPONCE AND KNOW WHAT HE INTENDS TO DO ABOUT HIM BREAKING MY WIFES WATCH.

    Brought my watch to be repaired. It was a broken stem and crown. The owner said he can fix it no problem. Paid him $400. He said explicitly, if it stops working bring it back. It stopped working 3 weeks after repair. I came back and kindly said it stopped working, the owner said, and I quote, what do you want me to do? I asked him to fix it, he said no, and proceeded to take it apart and blame me for breaking it. As he takes it apart, a piece falls into the garbage and he refuses to get it. Says it would take him 4 hours to find it. Luckily his employee felt bad and searched for it. This man knew he didnt fix my watch and refused to help me.

    Originally, the customer broke his ********************** and brought it in for repair. The watch was repaired properly and the customer was charged appropriately. When he came back the second time he unfortunately broke the watch in the same way he had the first time. Improper use or lack of knowledge on how to use a product is not a cause to blame the watchmaker/shop for not doing work properly.

    I am rejecting this response because: The watch was not used improperly and I know how to wear a watch.  The Watch Doctor did not fix the watch properly and was very rude as you can see by their response.  

    I would like a full refund as I have now brought it to a professional that knows what they are doing.

    As stated on our estimates and receipts: Refunds will not be issued. Any warranty work must be done by the shop. If a customer feels like going to a different shop because they dont like the service, they have the right to do so at their own expense. Damages resulting from improper use also are not covered by the warranty. Full disclaimer is listed below. 

    Disclaimer: We offer a twelve-month warranty on battery and overhaul services. Partial repairs carry a limited warranty only on work performed. This warranty does not cover: crystals, bands, stems, crowns, pushers, or any parts subject to wear and tear. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from: water, wear and tear, improper handling, tampering, or negligence. This warranty is rendered void if any of the above occurs, if the watch is opened, and/or if work is carried out on the watch by persons not employed by Watch Doctor Inc. All watches are considered not water resistant unless water resistance service has been performed. All work is signed. Refunds will not be issued.
