We use this garbage service as a seasonal pickup during the summer months at our lake house. Because it is a lake house we are typically not there during the week. Garbage pickup day is Friday. When they come, they come before we are there as we typically arrive after work on Fridays. The majority of the time, our garbage was not picked up. When I would call, no one would return my call. This went on for months. I was diligent in calling and asking to speak to a supervisor. They would send me to the supervisor line where I was to leave a message and they would never call me back. I refused to pay the bill since they rarely picked up the trash. And because we werent there every weekend we were dealing with smelly garbage and maggots when we returned. Another year goes by and the same thing keeps happening. I call. They dont call back etc. I had to finally get a bit rude and I finally spoke to a manager named ******. He said he took care of the charges for us. Fast forward a month and they call and say I owe $400. This continues to happen all summer last year. It was supposedly taken care numerous times but someone always calls saying I owe money. I just called and they again, said I owe $400 and some dollars even after I was told it was taken care of. I just want my bill taken care of. Im not paying for a service that rarely received. Its the worst run business I have ever encountered.Initial Complaint

LRS picks up our residential garbage at *****************************************We put the house on the market on December 15, 2024 and moved out.We have not put out any garbage for pickup since we left. Hi there! Im wondering if someone there can help me. We have trash management servies with a company called LRS (Address: LRS ***********************************; email: ************************************, Payment Address: LRS, LLC PO BOX ********************************). We have had nothing but problems (trash missed, dont return emails or phone calls, etc). Recently they started charging an additional fee for customers who are not signed up for auto billing. To avoid the fee, we signed up. We paid for 3 months of service online (Dec 2024/Jan 2025/Feb 2025) on 11/25/2024. I have the receipt. They deducted from our account again on 2/7/2025. Between all the issues we have had I contacted them about ending service, getting a refund, and an end of service date. I was informed that even though they have ALREADY REMOVED THE MONEY FROM OUR BANK ACCOUNT almost a month ago, they are unable to provide a refund for our account UNTIL MAY OR JUNE and that THEY WONT CANCEL THE SERVICE mid-month. They are refusing to cancel service or provide a timely refund. What can be done? I am also afraid they will continue to auto bill and I will just continue to be told that they wont refund our money until x** month (months later after the auto bill). In other words, they are attempting to continue our service despite our request to end service, as well as refusing to provide a timely refund. Can someone please suggest actionable steps to sever ties with this company and receive a timely refund? Thanks!Initial Complaint

Thank you for your time. I'm writing on behalf of our ************************ I'm currently the president of the building and we were interested in your services. I spoke to a gentleman Sigfedo about getting your services. I really wanted to change to your franchise unfortunately the contract we are in with another company would not let us break it early. Honestly along with that unfortunate part of the situation they were able to match and beat your companies offer. I felt bad but didn't want to have any major issues with having thier company deliver a dumpster or any other inconveniences. This was confirmed by the above gentleman ******* that it wasn't a problem. A week later I was puzzled to see LRS dropping off a dumpster. I called and asked what was happening. The gentleman ******* stated would handle this and it was a mistake on their behalf. Moving a month forward I received a bill for ****** in which states a dumpster delivery fuel/environmental fee. I was upset and this gentleman ******* a message to please remove us from his billing waive this fee and send me a confirmation that it was taken care of . I clearly don't understand why this individual is not responding or handling the situation. The invoice number is LRS782058. Please help me with this situation I feel I'm being for someone else's mistake. I contracted ************ systems (now LRS,LLC) to provide waste pickup at my sons house and the account was in my name. I thought that my son was paying the bill as agreed, but he did not. So after LRS stopped picking up at his address, I paid the bill $356.16, in full on 3-21-24 and cancelled the service at my sons house.After discussion with my son about when service was stopped, I contacted LRS to request a refund for quarter 1 of 2024 (Q1). Within days, their representative agreed to refund Q1. Since then, I have been corresponding with their representative and as the attached e-mails will show, I was reassured that there was a refund being processed.This has been in process for approximately 45 days and I get a strong indication that there is limited urgency to follow through on my refund.I am requesting a refund of Q1 (as agreed upon) estimated to be $89.04.Initial Complaint

LRS acquired Prarieland Disposal. I was on automatic payment for all my refuse services - when the new company (LRS) took over I set up automatic payment with them as well. I am fully paid up on my account but I continue to get invoices from LRS for old services that is from some other phantom account. As I said - IM FULLY PAID UP and I have an impeccable credit rating.I have called them at least 10 times and spent countless hours on the phone attempting to resolve. Every time they acknowledge that the issue is theirs and the say they will issue a credit - but they never do. They are acting in bad faith and are harassing me with invoices from years ago. They have demonstrated that by overtly lying to me every time I call that they will issue whatever credit is needed to stop the invoices that they cannot be trusted. Please help me. This is NOT how A+ rated businesses operate. I continue to receive an invoice which continues to incur charges for garbage disposal. I only receive these via email, they have never been mailed out since I no longer live at the property and the property is dilapidated. This has been an ongoing issue for two years. I canceled service with Prairie garbage disposal at the end of 2021 and yet I continue to be billed. I mean a simple indication that services aren't being rendered yet charged are the fact that the garbage cans have been taken away. I reached out numerous times to the company including today. I was told that someone indicated that billing should have stopped, yet it continues. This is ridiculous. I haven't paid them a cent and keep incurring monthly billing. My account should have been at 0.00 in 2021. It shows as of today $700 plus dollars outstanding. This is completely illegal. They need to rectify this matter.Initial Complaint

LRS has the same address, phone, etc. as Prairieland Disposal and am assuming they are the same. The took over from Lakes Disposal my previous trash collector, and even though I pay my bills every month, through a third-party bill pay system from my credit union, I am constantly over charged. I have tried to reconcile this, with proof of payment , etc, but they just look at their billing statement numbers, and refuse to admit that they got their payments, and my account should be current. Their explanations really make no sense, and the solution should be simple. I pay every month, and I can prove that I pay every month, but they keep telling me that I owe them money for some reason. I have included a summary of payments from 2022 to current to Lakes disposal and then to LRS, who took over for Lakes. I have included the monthly billing for October and current, and a copy of the e-mails that pertain to the Oct billing. Hoping for a resolution from you, as their responses are not consistent and do not address the fact that if I pay every month and I can prove that they have been paid, how can my account be anything but current. I signed up for garbage service in the summer of ************************************************** the mail. Unbeknownst to me, sometime in the late summer of 2022 LRS took over the business and stopped sending me billing statements. Fast forward to 10/27/23, I called Prairieland/LRS after receiving a threatening letter. Representative ****** (unsure of spelling) advised my account was on paperless billing, I told her the account was changed without my permission and that I do not check the email address, no one advised me of the change, that I never requested paperless billing, I never inquired about paperless billing, and I never signed up to use the company's website. She had the most recent bill mailed to me. Prior to receiving this letter in the mail, the company never attempted to call me about my account.I called the company again on 11/16/23 and spoke to **********. She was rude and essentially lied to me. I asked her to have each of the outstanding billing statements mailed to me so i could pay them. After explaining the company's error on my account, she advised she could not waive the late charges on my account. When I asked for a supervisor, she said there isn't one available and someone would call me back in ***** hours. As of 12/10/23, I have not received the requested billing statements in the mail AND no one has called me back.Required resolution: Prairieland/LRS needs to mail me copies of each outstanding billing statement as promised so I can pay the bills as they were originally charged, needs to make sure my account remains on paper billing, and needs to remove ALL late charges that have been (or will be) fraudulently charged to my account due to THEIR billing errors. They need to mail me an apology letter that ALL fraudulent late charges have been (or will be) removed (including all fraudulent charges accrued until the account is brought current).
