I brought my 2011 Land Rover to this garage to be fixed for a coolant leak. When I took the vehicle in it was running and just had one problem, when the mechanic called me to say the repairs were complete I went to pick the vehicle up and was I for that the vehicle was not starting and there was some sort of issue. I asked them to work out the issue and I would pay for it. About a month later I get a call and stating they cant find the part and would be unable to make it run again. I informed them I would find someone that can do the work and get back with them. About ************************************************************************************************************************************** 7000$ in storage and repairs fees and that they had been able to fix the vehicle. I was never made aware that the vehicle had been fixed and they said they mailed notification to me saying they were going to sell vehicle which I never got because they mailed to old address when they had my current address on file. Now they are telling me in order to get my vehicle back I need to pay $7000 and more than half of it is storage fees(4000). Also they are saying basically they own my vehicle now.

From the start the truck got tow in and it wasn't running at all, we check the coolant leak with out turning the truck on because of overheating the truck. When we fix the leak we recharge the battery and attemted to start it it didn't run. So we called him and ask if he has another key for it and he said yes i do and brought it in, after that we finally made it run to make sure it didn't over heat. That's when we made the call to him to pick it up, he came and the truck didn't run again so we kept checking it and it was a key problem. I cannot do keys here I called a proffesional in the area came by and couldn't fix it that's when he said I'm going to get it tow out from your shop and never came back i made multiple calls to him about it and never got a response for 2 moths so i had no other choice but to do a junking paperwork on the truck and it was filled thru the state. I went with the information they have for the truck by law that's what I'm suppost to do not by what ever address i have here. after the paperwork came back i took poccecion of the truck and was able to find someone to get it fix

I am rejecting this response because: the dates are inaccurate, and their statement is not factual. I have hired a lawyer to pursue legal action.

    Sincerely,

    Complaint: 21666890

I am rejecting this response because:they offered me to give my vehicle back for outrageous fees for storage instead of just being good business men and releasing my vehicle for the cost of repairs.

    Sincerely,

On July 13, 2022 I purchased a engine from B C Automotive. B C automotive delivered the engine to **** Auto shortly after purchase, the work was done, and I paid *** Auto for services, picked up my vehicle, and was gone on about my way. A core charge in the amount of $125 was supposed to be returned to me after the old motor was picked up for B C automotive. After checking with both places concerning the engine, it had not been picked up. B C has dealt with ***'s many times, so it should not of been a issue, HOWEVER when B C went to pick up the engine, *** had thrown the engine away, and offered B C another engine in replacement. B C declined the other engine as its core was not worth the same amount of money. After speaking to ******* at B C Auto and ****** and **** at *** automotive, nothing but finger pointing occured. The engine was in *** automotives possesion, and discarded by them. *** did not notify me that they were throwing my engine away and they refuse to give me my core refund. B C could not give me the core refund because they did not receive the engine back from J B's. As a paying customer to both places, I should NOT have to lose my core refund as NONE of the situation is my fault. i have the receipts from B C as well as the work receipt from J B. From July till now is a little over 4 1/2 months, and a paying customer should not have to suffer due to any shops negligence. I am only seeking my core refund from the shop that discarded my engine.
