IAA has caused me so much stress. The customer service is Truly the worst Ive ever experienced in my life. I purchased a car through them for ***** dollars. IAa listed the car as a run and drive vehicle but it was a lemon. the car did not start, it did not move it did not shift gears . The car was inoperable. After picking the car up I immediately had it checked by a professional mechanic and was told that it needed a transmission. I spoke with a manager by the name of ******************************* 8-12-22 he agreed to refund me my money that following Monday. After reaching out to him on Monday to sign the paperwork a different manager by the name of ********* answered telling me that ***** had been fired. So that he would offer me $300 for my losses. I did not agree . so then he told me to contact the branch manager ***** who have not been able to contact for three weeks now. I would never do business with this company again. And I will continue to take further action until this problem is resolved.

Thank you for your review, IAAI is a salvage auction dealer, we give buyers the opportunity to have vehicles inspected during the pre-bid / preview days. also buyer can use carfax reports and other means to get a better understanding of the vehicle they are interested. Also the IAAI auction rules clearly state that: 7. ANY STATEMENT THAT A VEHICLE RUNS OR DRIVES (SUCH AS THROUGH AN AUCTION NOTATION RUN & DRIVE) MEANS THAT THE ENGINE STARTED (EITHER WITH OR WITHOUT A JUMP), BOTH THE FORWARD AND REVERSE GEARS ENGAGED AND FROM THE STARTING POSITION, THE STEERING WHEEL MADE ONE FULL ROTATION TO THE RIGHT AND ONE FULL ROTATION TO THE LEFT, ALL AT THE **** OF ARRIVAL AT IAAS FACILITY. IT IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT IT WILL DO SO ANY **** THEREAFTER OR THAT THE VEHICLE IS ROADWORTHY. also that all vehicles are sold "AS IS". If there is anything more I can do to assist you in this matter please reach me at the email address below.thanks. Will *******************************************

Bought car taht was advertised run and drive. When delivered car was not going in the reverse. Called manager he said his mechanic said it was running. That does make no sense. They don't want to take car back. That is shameful and false advertising. You can't trust these guys.

Thank you for your review. sorry to hear that there is confusion about what "run and Drive " means pertaining to IAA auction rules. ANY STATEMENT THAT A VEHICLE RUNS OR DRIVES (SUCH AS THROUGH AN AUCTION NOTATION ***********) MEANS THAT THE ENGINE STARTED (EITHER WITH OR WITHOUT A JUMP), BOTH THE FORWARD AND REVERSE GEARS ENGAGED AND FROM THE STARTING POSITION, THE STEERING WHEEL MADE ONE FULL ROTATION TO THE RIGHT AND ONE FULL ROTATION TO THE LEFT, ALL AT THE **** OF ARRIVAL AT IAAS FACILITY. IT IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT IT WILL DO SO ANY **** THEREAFTER OR THAT THE VEHICLE IS ROADWORTHY.If you would like me to investigate with the branch to see if there is anything we can do, (possible if a buy back is available) then you can reach me at the below e-mail address. Thanks ******* (Will) ******* Supervisor, IAA ***************************** ******************** Complaints, Russian / ******* Escalation Team *********************************************************************** O ************ | *******************************************

scammers I bought a 2008 ****** Rav 4 from the their ********* branch in *******. IAAI Posted the vehicle as a Run and Drive . I live in ************ , so I relied on their advertisement as a Run and Drive vehicle. I bought the vehicle and paid over $1300 for transportation . When the vehicle arrived the ENGINE was bad. That's clearly deceptive and false advertisement. They gave me the run around and I am stuck with trash.

Thank you for your review, It is saddening to hear that you misunderstood Action Rule #7, which states: "7. IT IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT IT WILL DO SO ANY **** THEREAFTER OR THAT THE VEHICLE IS ROADWORTHY". It is the sole responsibility of the buyers to read the auction rules, attend any auction preview days and or run car-fax reports on vehicles before they bid on them. Again we are sad to hear this wasn't understood and also want to express our sincere gratitude to you for being one of our buyers. If there is anything else you would like to share with me about this transaction, please reach out to me at the below email address. Thanks ******* (Will) ******* Supervisor, IAA ***************************** ******************** Complaints, Russian / ******* Escalation Team *********************************************************************** O ************ | *******************************************
